  1. [08:13] Luna Invidia whispers something.
  2. [08:15] Lotus says, "Hello again."
  3. [08:16] Orlane says, "Hello, again."
  4. [08:16] Lotus says, "I didn't get your name the last time."
  5. [08:16] Orlane asks, "Orlane. And yours?"
  6. [08:16] Lotus says, "Lotus."
  7. [08:17] Orlane says, "A pleasure, Lotus."
  8. [08:17] Lotus says, "The pleasure is mine."
  9. [08:18] Lotus asks, "Would you like company?"
  10. [08:18] Orlane says, "If you wish."
  11. [08:18] Orlane says, "There isn't much else going on."
  12. [08:18] Lotus says, "Yeah."
  13. [08:18] Lotus says, "Pretty empty."
  14. [08:18] Lotus asks, "Are you in the mood for a story?"
  15. [08:19] Orlane says, "Sure - the entertainment would be appreciated."
  16. [08:19] Lotus says, "This will be rather interesting."
  17. [08:21] Orlane says, "I look forward to it, then."
  18. [08:31] Lotus would pull the staff out again the staff looked to be made of strong vines and a slightly darker color. Nature energy could be felt coming from the staff as well as a darker energy could be felt. The staff seem to react to the touch of the Dryad and a chilling feeling surround the area around them.
  19.
  20. A long deep breath was take followed by Lotus placing the staff in the ground. Upon contact flowers would instantly sprout out surrounding the base of the staff emitting a glow of nature energy coming from the area.
  21.
  22. "This staff here was basically a given to me, but in a sense you could say I also took it or it was destiny to be with me. It belong to a Dryad who informed me that she was the guardian of the dark forest.
  23.
  24. She had the blessing I've been seeking since the age of fifteen and I told her to give me the information. The woman laugh and told me I wasn't near strong enough to receive such information about the blessing.
  25.
  26. We enter battle of course and the first round of fights were terrible with her nature magic she over powered me. He vines were a crystal blue color and seemed to last much longer than my green ones in fact they lasted the who battle.
  27.
  28. Again she laughed
  29.
  30. I was begin to get annoyed and as she planned her accepted I aimed to tackle her to the ground to get he information and of course she side stepped me.
  31.
  32. Again she laughed and aske me a riddle.
  33.
  34. "I touch your face,
  35. I'm in your words,
  36. I'm lack of space,
  37. and beloved by birds."
  38.
  39. I answered correctly and she offered me another attempt to battle her, but her time was limited as she begin to transform. The battle ended in my favor with me used my water magic to blast her into a cave followed by my earth magic collapsing on top of her.
  40.
  41. Again she laughed
  42.
  43. This time was different she being to turn into the guardian tree of the dark forest and her words were "The blessing is already inside of you" and with that she was gone.
  44.
  45. However her staff fell and I took it upon myself to grab it and suddenly I heard a voice that said "The curse is now yours that staff is bound to your soul" and with that the exit of the dark forest opened."
  46. (Lotus)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [08:44] They listened, politely. Not a word to interrupt the story as the stranger told it. Arms neatly folded across their chest; leaning back against the bench - eyes shut. Simply listening to the curious tale. Honestly not sure if it was something real or not, or perhaps the man simply retelling some story - and using his own name in place of whatever folk hero it had ever been.
  50.
  51. When it ended - they opened their eyes and stared at him for a moment. Arms unfolding - gauntlet-covered hands coming together in a single clap. Approval, perhaps, then falling simply in their lap.
  52.
  53. "Interesting. Curious story, Lotus. Thank you for the tale. How much of it is true?" They were blunt - wasting no time in simply asking.
  54. (Orlane)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [08:53] Lotus raised a brown looked over the person unsure of how he should approach this question; being the Dryad of legend and the one that will truly unlock the blessing wasn't a joke. He could always show them the staff, but what does that prove? then again he didn't get some magic items, but who's to say he didn't make that up as well?; he was in a rough place right now to prove the worth of his story.
  58.
  59. He could always show her /that/, but he felt that was a bit extreme for his tale. This being the first time somebody question about how true his story was and honestly it was rathe amusing to him.
  60.
  61. "The entire story is true; I have no reason to make this up I still care the staff till this day. Even if I showed you the staff that wouldn't be enough, but if you battled me then you could feel the truth coming from my story.
  62.
  63. This still was the more enjoyable part of the story, but there is also a dark part to this story and that's how I continue to leave the true nature of nature.
  64.
  65. You could even feel the staff I don't know how well you are at drawing out the power of magic items, but I can feel it increase the power of nature magic.
  66.
  67. All that to say this; I have no reason to make up a story like that I'm attuned with nature and it responds to my command.
  68.
  69. Lotus held the staff in his hand at this point.
  70. (Lotus)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [08:58] "I see." It was all they said for a time; watching the man - their eyes only briefly considering the staff. "No, I don't need to touch it. Thank you for the tale - I don't doubt you." Though, whether they did or not was uncertain. What they did know, however, was that this man certainly wanted them to believe it - and they weren't going to argue.
  74.
  75. "Why don't you tell me the dark part, however? Consider me curious - happy endings are nice. But a story isn't complete without the full structure. Wouldn't you agree?"
  76. (Orlane)
  77. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  78.
  79. [08:59] Lotus says, "Hm?, alright."
  80. [09:12] Lotus continued to look at this person from the way it sounded they didn't buy it. At this point he'd tone it down trying new things weren't his thing not after the events that happened in his life. A long sigh was taken and he knew this was be a long story; heading over towards the bench he'd sit down. Gazing off into the ocean wondering where he should begin his story into his path of darkness.
  81.
  82. "I grew up a cheerful kid and before the events I told you of took place I was against violence and using nature to harm people. Yet a war happened and like the environment changed with how others treat it my mind did the same.
  83.
  84. The beginning of the dark path that involved nature happened when a man wanted to kill a thirteen year old girl that couldn't fight. So I beat him and a darkness overcame me causing me to rip his body into pieces over the land; and it felt great.
  85.
  86. Knowing this I had to continue this path and find out how violent nature could truly be and the darkness followed. How weight feel holding you down the darkness did jsut that and as a young child I had no parents the person that paid me attention was Adria and she used Occult magic.
  87.
  88. SO of course she fed the flame telling me what I did was correct and I should feed this feeling even after my little event with the forest guardian. I though life was looking good until she got me exiled from Gehenna with her lies only to save her own ass avoiding all conflicts.
  89.
  90. Not only did she get me exiled she came to hunt me down to bring me back for judgment and I refused that ended in a battle. She wounded me and yet the blessing of nature wasn't with me yet the dark feeling lingered and at this point the dark feeling...this entity will help me bring out the blessing of nature with it's dark energy.
  91.
  92. I plan to harm her or kill her in cold blood and I have no remorse for her the only thingI can thank her for is the darkness that lives inside of me. This thing, beast, it understands the feeling and what I wish to achieve in this would and the violent nature of my magic.
  93.
  94. Louts sighed gripping his staff tightly slowly turning his head towards them with a grin.
  95.
  96. "Now, how much of that story do you believe?"
  97. (Lotus)
  98. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  99.
  100. [09:17] "People. Places. Things. These all lend credence to your tale, yes." They looked at the man for a moment, they turned their gaze out back towards the ocean. They had their own view on the occult - one by and large irrelevant to the story being told, however. So they didn't speak about it; instead, more interested in the subject at hand.
  101.
  102. "So; I take it you are still looking for this woman, then? I will keep my ears peeled for the name. Do you have a description? I am hardly a manhunter - but I shall aid in any way I can. Consider it repayment for an interesting story." Of course; they weren't going to kill the woman for this man. He, clearly, wanted to do that deed himself. But - it never hurt to offer assistance.
  103. (Orlane)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [09:32] Lotus smiled at the person sitting next to him, however, he didn't know what was bothering him at this point. Was it the fact that she didn't believe him?; he wasn't sure if they did or didn't, but Lotus knew of the darkness that lingered within his body waiting to be released. Every event in his life prepared him for the blessing and when the time finally came he'd harness that power to achieve his own goals leaving nothing in his way.
  107.
  108. That's if he manage to project his emotions on to his nature and force awaken the blessing, did he have to walk with spirts? So many question and yet he was left with "The blessing was inside of him". A deep sigh left the man finally forming his mouth to speak.
  109.
  110. "That's, that would be helpful, however, she doesn't leave her house in Gehenna for reasons. She created the darkness within me and she don't want to face that; hell I wouldn't even if she knew the amount of rage and power I've been building up.
  111.
  112. When they finally get the truth from her and I'm allowed in Gehenna lands again; I will face her and bring the wrath of nature with the blessing of mother nature with me. She will finally get that glorious end that she wanted by my hands.
  113.
  114. If you do manage to see her in pass and you let me know that would be appreciated greatly.
  115.
  116. Lotus begin to lean back on the bench.
  117. (Lotus)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [09:41] "I wish you luck, in that case." They inclined their head towards him, then made to rise from the bench. "And - thank you for the time, and conversation. I'm afraid it's gotten extremely late... Or, perhaps, early. It can be hard to tell." One hand came up - dusting at their cloak for a moment.
  121.
  122. "Perhaps we can speak another time - but for now? I need to get some rest before I fall asleep on the bench, here. Do stay safe, Lotus. If you're ever in town again - I would like to hear more about this story of yours."
  123. (Orlane)
  124. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  125.
  126. [09:45] He'd nod giving them a slight was as he to stood up from the bench most likely heading back to crafthold.
  127.
  128. "Until nest time then"
  129. (Lotus)
