Nobella Start

Twenty years ago.

Nobella was wracked in the first global war that spanned across the skyscape. Engulfed in a massive war, this all began when a faction of powerful mages formed a collective that staged a coup to take over Atros. Shortly after usurping power, the Apostles, as they were called, soon developed a warped reverence of their great leader, now viewed as a God-king that walked among the world due to his seemingly unstoppable magical power.

His name was Kane, and with his apostles and countless mages at his side, Kane sought to take control of the world. Countless lives were lost during these wars; and to this day, many places still carry the scars left from the war.

Barione still remains a barren, burnt landscape. Once a verdant green jungle, now nothing more than a wasteland of scorched earth and dry sand.

Floria, once beautiful and lush, now became corrupted from the flux; a magical phenomena that forms from excess magic. Tainted and lost, Floria is now nothing more than a tainted shadow of its former glory.

Atros to this day still remains forever choked from the world with the dense, flux-ridden smog cloaking the isle, thanks to Kane fueling it.

Many more isles and lands bare the scars of the magical war, but those twenty years have passed after Kane's defeat. Shortly after the God-King's demise, many apostles lost all hope of winning the war; for his power was so great that the very idea of him being defeated in battle left the coven fracturing.

Now, the world is in a new age. Peace. Prosperity. Regrowth.
