Susie does not eat Alphys's chalk

The news about Susie's dietary habit had spread from Kris to Noelle, and then to the rest of the class. Only Alphys didn't know, but she had adjusted to it anyway, and always kept a few backup sticks on her person.

Susie turned it into a performance now. It gave her a surprisingly strong incentive to arrive on time. When Alphys stepped outside she would weave between the desks, with one hand theatrically in front of her eyes, blindly grab the chalk with her teeth, throw it in the air, and catch it and snap it in half with her maw. All this in the span of two seconds. A threatening wink to Berdly kept him from telling Alphys.

As she grew ever more daring, it was bound to go wrong some time.

When Susie approached the classroom she saw Alphys just heading in the other direction. She grabbed a blindfold from her pocket, bound it around her eyes, and waltzed in front of the class.

The entire rest of the class watched in awe as she picked up the remote of the projector with her teeth, threw it into the air, and swallowed it whole.

Both Alphys and Susie were confused when the projector kept turning off and on and flipping upside down for the entire presentation.
