Google Sitemp error - Not fetched
My search console giving error. I have tried various plugins. it always says not fetched. I have also added meta and verified too it still not get added. Any help?

Are you able to go to your sitemap URL in your browser ? Is is correctly displayed ?
If yes, do you have a robots.txt file that would prevent Google from crawling it ?
Also paste the exact error you're seeing.
Yes I can see sitemap.xml and no block in robots.txt
Errors are
"couldn't fetch".
"Sitemap could not be read"

And the sitemap appears already on your GSC?

Is your GSC site version correctly set up ?
