Everyone just go to your appointments

Alexithymiaa: -Steph was on her way storming into the house after her first therapy session with a new doctor. Which did not go well. She had her phone held to her ear as she shoved the door open, slamming it closed behind her and stomping over toward the counter, tossing her keys down. "No, I don't want to come back in and talk about it. I want you to CANCEL my follow-up. I want nothing more than to never step foot back in that office again!" She yelled.-
Covet: Felix was on the couch napping, a half melted ice pack sitting on his shoulder. He jumped up when he heard Steph yelling, which was a feat even for his deaf ass. His heart was racing he rubbed his eyes. "What the hell is all the yelling, and loud noises." He said rubbing his hair making it all messy.
Alexithymiaa: "No I don't want to talk to him. What are you not understanding? Either you cancel my appointment for next week, or you'll have an hour block of time in your schedule with no one there. He was disgusting and completely inappropriate during our session and if he thinks THAT is therapy, I hope someone sues him for harrassment." She pulled the phone away from her ear and hung up on the poor receptionist that was fielding the phone call, dropping her phone onto the counter and rubbing her hands back over her hair before turning arouns to look at Felix looking tired. "Sorry." She said with zero sincerity because worked out.-
Alexithymiaa: (worked up**)
Covet: "Does all that also mean you don't want to talk to me about it either? Cause I have a lot of questions on what I just heard." Felix said then yawned. "I didn't even hear the dogs bark when you came in, are they off hiding somewhere?"
Alexithymiaa: -She sucked in a deep breath, knowing she had no right to yell at Felix also because he'd done nothing wrong, but she was just all flustered. "Yes. No... I don't know. But I'm not going back there." She turned around to look behind her toward the door, not seeing the dogs and then turning back to see their noses pressed to the back door. "They're outside."-
Covet: "Oh...Shit. I'm sorry." Felix said getting up to go let them in, wincing a little when he opened up the door, because he was a dumbass overworking himself all weekend. "Why aren't you going back?" He asked before closing the door again.
Alexithymiaa: -She knelt down on the floor as they came running inside, wrapping them both in a hug because even when mad, puppies make it better. "Because Dr. Antsberg is a pig. He was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. I shouldn't have to feel gravely uncomfortable sitting through the first session. That's ridiculous."-
Covet: "But... you would feel uncomfortable regardless if it was him or another therapist. Because you don't want to talk to someone, even a professional about this....So... what exactly did he do?" Felix said as he walked over to her.
Alexithymiaa: "There's a difference between being uncomfortable talking to a therapist and whatever this session was today." She snapped, pushing up to her feet to look at him."His idea of getting to know me and my history is asking if I've ever woken up from one of my nightmares, aroused." She said, crossing her arms over her chest angrily.-
Covet: Felix thought about it for a moment, "So all of this is over a question like that? I mean. It could be inappropriate but then again, It's not exactly unheard of in survivors of sexual assault. So it would be something important to adress, if it was an issue." He said then put his hands up, "I'm not taking sides there, just not jumping to conclusions and trying to rationalize a second."
Alexithymiaa: "Not one question. He asked several just like that. As if he didn't get the hint the first time that, that was inappropriate to ask." She set her jaw, staring at his face. "No Felix, survivors of sexual assault don't fantasize about their assault."-
Covet: "I'm not saying fantasize." Felix said with a sigh. "It's a well known fact that the body's response doesn't always match the emotional or mental response, in regards to sexual assault. I'm not saying you're fantasizing about it, nor are you one of those that does have that issue. But some do, so there's a reason for that question."
Alexithymiaa: "So you don't think it was inappropriate to ask before he knew anything about me, or I trusted him?" She asked, planting her hands on her hips and essentially daring him to disagree with her.-
Covet: "I Said I don't know, I can see it from both sides." He said then stopped himself, "I can't have this conversation with you right now. Because regardless of what I say, I'm going to become the villain. So I'm Switzerlanding out and I'll be over there on Antartica." He said pointing to the couch, backing up towards it so he could get the melted ice pack and replace it.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhuh..." She said through narrowed eyes, watching him intently. "Well I'm not going back to him. You said I can go through as many therapists as I want until I find someone I don't hate, and I hate him." She turned and walked into the kitchen, pulling open the freezer and grabbing a fresh ice pack, holding it out to him. "How does it feel?"-
Covet: "It's fine Just recovering from working out is all." Felix sais with a shrug, that he regretted. "So since you bailed halfway out of your appointment, that means I don't have to go to mine." He said as a statement not a question.
Alexithymiaa: "Working out?" She repeated, furrowing her brows. "Wait wait wait, I went to my appointment and have all intentions of calling to make another appointment with a different therapist in the morning. That doesn't mean you don't have to go to yours and you shouldn't be working out until your physical therapist says you can. And even then, it'll only be certain approved exercises." She gave him a look so he would know she wasnt messing around. "I'm serious, you're going to hurt yourself."-
Covet: "I'm fine. It wasn't anything major, just a ten pound freeweight, if anything it was just for getting tone back in my arm." He told her. "I looked it up online, That's what a PT would have had me do. If you want I can switch it over to the resistance bands instead?" Felix said rolling his eyes, "Okay then I'll make an appointment once you stick through one."
Alexithymiaa: "Why go to eight years of med school when Google has all the medical knowledge you need?" She asked sarcastically. "That's not how this works. If I have an appointment, you have an appointment. I at least went to my first one which means you're keeping yours. I don't understand why this is such a chore for you. Instead of looking up with you'd be doing in your appointments why don't you just actually go?" She moved her hands up on either side of her hand, moving exploding motions.-
Covet: "To be fair, I did click on a site that is backed by a doctor. I'm not entirely dumb." He said with a scoff. "Because, I'm healed, already, and I have all the stuff here, the only thing I don't have is the actual PT here."
Alexithymiaa: -She sent him a completely unamused glance, turning away and walking over into the dining room to flip through today's mail. Which was probably mostly bills because adulting. "Healed yes, but you've had a decent amount of muscular atrophy so you can't just jump right into your normal activity. It's like your shoulder's difficulty level is a 2 and the rest of you is a 10. It won't be able to keep up and you'll hurt yourself. Please trust me on this. I've done this shit often enough to know what happens when you don't follow instructions."-
Covet: Felix leaned his head back and groaned, as he put the ice pack on his shoulder. "UGH... Fine.. I'll still go." He said with a huff.
Alexithymiaa: "Good, because this wasn't so much of a debate as you think it was. I could have just as easily turned around and refused to make another appointment until you went to your first one. And since you seem so invested in my therapy, I know you wouldn't let that happen." She stuck her thumb under one of the envelopes, tearing it open to scan one of the bills.-
Covet: "Mhhm." Felix said with annoyance at her being right about that. "Can you bring me a bottle of water when you come back this direction? And maybe come chill with me, I think a cuddle could do us both good."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah... can you please go through the rest of this when you get home tomorrow?" She asked, setting the rest of the stack down and heading off into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. "I'm meeting the Kittens at the studio after class to go over some of the music I've been writing. It's taken a different direction than everything we've done up until this point so I just want to get some feedback before I throw myself into writing more like it." She dropped down onto the couch, passing off the bottle to him.-
Covet: "Oh nice. I can't wait to hear what you have going on up there." He said with a smile, taking the bottle to chug a good portion of it down.
Alexithymiaa: "I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Musically and lyrically." She said with a smile, leaning in for cuddles. She knew a lot of her lyrics had been helping her deal with her issues which he'd like, and a lot of what she'd done musically was more electronic which he'd also like. Like like like.-
