  1. The Arm, as in the Holy Arm of the Goddess Samaetha, are a religious sect striving against the corruption in the world one step at a time.
  2.
  3. Ideally they prefer peace and pacifism, but are more than capable of fighting if the situation demands it.
  4.
  5. Being in conflict with the fallen causes them to be in constant action across the land, far and wide, with all sorts.
  6.
  7. One of their most notable, most tenacious of foes, are the koj'ehr.
  8.
  9. The koj'ehr are natural manifestations of the shadows themselves, inherently dark and opposed to the light. Due to their innate abilities and regular employment of guerrilla-like tactics, the Holy Arm has had to adapt accordingly over the years.
  10.
  11. Their ranks range far and wide and are myriad in sort. A number of their host most handedly used in opposition to the koj'ehr are:
  12.
  13. The Panoptic
  14. Gazing stoically around for shadows, the Panoptic stands ever ready.
  15. (Oracle, Silver Elf)
  16.
  17. Purveyors of the lands, their ubiquitous visions let nothing escape them. These spellcasters are hearty individuals seeking to spread the Word of the Right. Should the koj'ehr refuse diplomacy, the Panoptic's arsenal of hexes and curses are more than enough leverage to help them with seeing the Light.
  18.
  19. These witches do not shy away from the use of their entire arsenal. Ranging from the debilitating curses such as constricting hex, petrify, profane litany, and circle of bane, to the destructive power of dreynen curse, fireball, and witching frostband, their abilities run the gamut of offense.
  20.
  21. The Maiden
  22. Radiating a visible holy light, the aura of this Maiden is both soothing and warm.
  23. (Daja of the Order of Light, Silver Elf)
  24.
  25. The Maidens are a squadron of chaste women, devoting themselves to the Light. Through their healing and supportive abilities, they enhance the potential and longevity of their comrades. Nonviolent by nature, if threatened, they are more than capable of standing their ground.
  26.
  27. As supporters of their comrades, there is no healing length that they will not go to. With the rain of healing sanctity, light order, restoration, dajain holy analgesic, life nova, and wounded abatement at their disposal, their role is solidified as that of healer.
  28.
  29. The Sylvan
  30. Nonchalantly speaking with the trees, this Sylvan wanders aimlessly.
  31. (Heiton of Greater, Naj'rei Faehr)
  32.
  33. The lands are alive, imbued with the lifeforce and powers of the Pantheon. The earth is innately holy and sacred, and the Sylvan are their defenders. As the cycles of nature ebb and flow, so do the powers of the Sylvan; offering a competent hand in battle, as well as a supportive hand to the Maiden, encompasses the potential of the Sylvan in war.
  34.
  35. With the Sylvan's role split into both offense and defense, their abilities match. Through the cycles of celtic resilience and the controlling methods of the enclosure of the trewan and trewan of the rising forest, their defensive role is met. Through the channels of nature via rite of sundering, blackfrost cloudburst, and decaying touch, their offensive role is met.
  36.
  37. The Furtive
  38. Shadows shift imperceptibly nearby, as one of the Furtive watch you quietly.
  39. (Mahoutsukai Joufu, Weretiger Khan)
  40.
  41. The Furtive are the unseen legion of the Arm. One way of best understanding your enemy and his tactics is to think and behave like your enemy. As the Furtive employ secretive tactics and personify the nature of the surprise element, they maintain the Path of the Light in the face of the Dark. They understand the necessity of an unseen force in war, as well as the toll it may take on one's Soul.
  42.
  43. One of the most fearsome capabilities of the Furtive is their ability to remove an enemy's protective enchantments. With the use of soundless strike, soundless strike: grei, and soundless strike: naj'k, this role is fulfilled.
  44.
  45. The Shield
  46. A living mountain of armor and muscle stands before you, as one of the fabled Shields.
  47. (Jakaen, Jadior of Light)
  48.
  49. The Shield has earned this name wholeheartedly; for their acts of protecting the weak and their impervious nature, they function as literal shields. Toe to toe, few can withstand the sheer power of the Shield. Staunch and immovable, they comprise the brunt of the Arm's force.
  50.
  51. As the immovable force for the Arm, their potential for handling sundry offensive forces is key to not only their survival, but the survival of others. Utilizing immunity: impairment, immunity: lightning, immunity: fire/frost offers them a key role in relegating elemental damage.
