Eldwin Sent the letter, asking for me in particular.
A name was crossed out in an alphabet I couldn't understand

Lorian greeted me at the door, and i met eldwin. He asked if i was a guard, i am not. He took me on as a bodyguard after rifling through his journal to find my name. He gave me a glass rose that he opened in a welded lockbox, he can open and close it at will. He sent off a letter for me and sent me on my way.

I had a wonderful dream about grand machines and fine creatures. Mechanical boats with legs, talking mountains, the sky crashing into the land. Extrodinary animals as well, snails playing themselves as drums, birds with flutes, and dogs with horns. When I awoke, the glass rose i was given filled with the memories of the dream.

I met eldwin again, he revealed that he gave me the dream through the rose. I presented him the rose and he invited me to watch him work. a few days pass like this, and one night he appears missing, on a small hunt that i was not aware of. I found a cave that i could not enter, unless something else was moving as i did. At the bottom were 4 huge pillars with a large disc beneath them. The pillars had the muses on them, and the disc played a soft melody. Humming along with it in a complimenting melody, the disc forms a staircase. I was almost able to enter, but i could not.

Leaving the cave, i found a large phoenix, with eldwin sleeping among a field of these crystal roses. The phoenix saw me and flew off. Among the roses were memories of me, but i do not remember them.

My men showed up, but were followed. After intense verbal debate, the guards took him away, along with many of the roses. I managed to keep a few roses that the guards could not take. I've sent for my best legal ogre, and until then I need to find some help...
