Who can remove the ability to bend from those who go after him, even if he's only doing it for a short period of time? Who claims to have seen the future and other worlds and isn't shy about saying it? Oh yes, these BOTH fit EXTREMELY well.

Hopefully this is not a thing I will ever have a need to make use of, but among the benefits of getting a spiritual descendant with my powers is that they can bring me back to life and I can protect them and train them in person, rather than being limited merely to doing so spiritually. Let them be their own person, that's all well and fine.

So, yeah, refusing to learn new crafts and skills. I can live with that. What's going to be fun is ignoring the plot, raising the city, and waiting until Aang and his companions stumble across me. Which won't really take all that long, to be honest.
