"I hope there's no more monsters here..." She turns her attention to Gillian, "Are you alright, master..? I'm sorry, I should've done a better job of looking out for you..." Alise starts to tear up, "Next time, please throw my body in the way of their attack!"

Ismark doesn't seem to be affected by the curse anymore...around town, if you look around, appears to be a large church, a mercantile, a tavern, a large mansion (not the one you were just at) and a cemetary.

upon closer inspection, the tavern appears to be an inn as well...of course, the random lady crying comes from a random townhouse a hop skip and a jump away

"Whew! Alright, that's this guy's problem taken care of. I'm heading to the tavern."

You enter the tavern, seemingly grown shoddy over the years. Close inspection of the sign reveals that it originally read "Blood of the Vine." (An "n" has been scratched over with the "f.")

A blazing fire in the hearth gives scant warmth to the few huddled souls within. They include the barkeep, three Vistani sitting together, and a man named Ismark Kolyanovich- Who would have been here if I hadn't arbitrarily forced him into the death house scenario.

"Hey! Any of you recognize this guy?"

"Hey and welcome to- By GOD! Ismark, is that you? What have you DONE to the poor lad?!"
