They have to have the perfect bond with their owner for them to cooperate and be amiable to their requests. It just so happened that with time came intelligence, with intelligence came curiosity, with curiosity came investigation and with investigation came the possibility of rebellion. As the hound lived her life she participated in trips to the surface. She liked it up there. It was cool, sometimes warm and not nearly as hot as down below. <br /><br />The trips usually consisted of her being sent with a few others to collect a soul when the human's contract has run out. Eventually, she began to take trips up to the surface to observe the interaction of humans, animals and the like when she wasn't needed. She also took the time to observe one of the humans that had made a deal with the demons, and the longer she observed him the more she felt a peculiar emotion start to take root. <br /><br />This emotion was sadness, and after that came another emotion: guilt. When the time came to collect his contract she just watched as the others went after him. Her master ordered her to go along with them, but she turned on her master and tore at the demon's throat sending her back to Hell. From there she wandered the earth, still a threat to those up above but no longer chained to a demon as a slave.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Powers and Abilities;</span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Invisibility - Hellhounds are invisible to humans, except under special circumstances. However, many supernatural creatures, such as demons and angels, can see them. They can also be seen by the humans they are assigned to hunt and through an object scorched with Holy Fire.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Invulnerability - Hellhounds cannot be killed by conventional means or weapons. However, weapons like Ruby's Knife, or an Angel blade, can kill them.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Super senses - Just like any supernatural creature, their senses are extremely keen.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Super speed - They are naturally much faster than humans.</span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Super stamina - Once a hellhound has the scent of its prey, it will never stop hunting him or her, unless it is killed or called off by its master.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Super strength - A hellhound is able to overpower and kill humans, demons and possibly even Angels.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Body Manifestation - The power of a nonphysical being to become physical.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Tracking - They can locate any human or demon they are sent after.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Hallucinations - When close to their prey, hellhounds cause their victims to experience hallucinations, so as to frighten them out of hiding and leave them defenceless.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Weaknesses;</span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Salt - serves as a barrier which they cannot pass. Shotgun rounds filled with rock salt can also harm them.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Goofer Dust - Can be used to create a barrier, like salt.</span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Devil's Shoe String - This herb can serve as a barrier preventing Hellhounds from passing through a door it's placed over.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Demon-Killing Knife - Ruby's knife can kill them.</span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">The Colt - This gun proves the most effective at killing Hellhounds.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Angel blade - This weapon can kill Hellhounds.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Archangel Blade - This weapon can probably kill one, as it is even more powerful than a standard Angel blade.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Iron - Iron can harm and even kill Hellhounds.</span><br />&nbsp;</p>
