- General Changes
- Fixed MvM canteen interfering with melee holster speeds
- Having the canteen item equipped on loadouts appeared to reset the holster penalty of melee weapons, due to an oversight in detecting the correct item class name.
- Phlogistinator
- + Alt-fire damage ramps up to 2x with temperature
- + Alt-fire may be crit-boosted
- - Removed maxxing out temperature on-hit with alt-fire
- As a way to max out temperature, it was not ideal given the limited range, making for a poor fight starter. Instead the damage of the alt-fire itself was made to scale with temperature to make it work better as a fight ender, even more so if the user had MMMPH active.
- Sharpened Volcano Fragment
- Corrected issue with holster speed bonus
- + Volcano effect heals user by 40 on target's death
- - Removed damage bonus provided by Volcano effect
- Reception on the weapon had made the combo feel too specific in it's application, not being worthwhile without running a flare or the Dragon's Fury, and the feedback on flamethrower damage made it hard to gague it's impact. Rather, than the bonus damage, it was instead given an on-heal effect for killing marked targets. This ought to help alleviate some of the danger in trying to engage with the weapon in melee, and provides a more tangible benefit for your survivability if you can manage to spread the effect.
- Loch-n-Load
- + Added: This weapon will reload automatically when not active (1/sec)
- - Reduced deploy bonus to 20% faster (was 40%)
- - Removed explosions triggering stickies nearby
- The former combo incentivized by the weapon was rather forced, and gambling on the smaller blast radius of the weapon and hoping you'll not need the extra grenades. Rather, a more applicable upside was added in a passive reload, allowing the user to always have the weapon locked and loaded for when they need the backup.
- Iron Bomber
- - Proximity trigger now only active 0.5 second from touching a surface
- Bombs make a beep sound and flash when they become active
- The ability to make a near miss into a hit easily made the weapon feel too forgiving when spammed at enemies in a choke. In addition to making the weapon easier to read, it was given a slight delay before actively detecting nearby enemies to give users more chance to escape it's range.
- The Quick-Fix
- Fixed fall-damage vulnerability not properly being reverted
- A holdover from a prior iteration of the item
- The Amputator
- Message will now display when user is capable of cancelling taunt
- + Reverted increased regeneration while active
- - Removed healing aura created on-hit
- Given feedback on the weapon
- Darwin's Danger Shield
- + Increased debuff resistance to -66% (was -33%)
- Some feedback on the shield had it's debuff resistance feel underwhelming, especially given the added survivability of the other backpacks.
