Dear Osada-san

The winter in Boston was pretty mild this year. We are thankful that we were not burdened with much snow. The temperature has been rising, and it looks like spring might come early this year. How is the weather in Tokyo?

I am very excited about the opportunity you have given me, and I look forward to working with the Luctronics planning department. I read that I will be living in (really far away place). I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about the area, and how I would commute to the office every day.

I was also writing because I am happy to share some news about the research I have been doing at MIT. “List of impressive research”. I am really looking forward to using these skills in the upcoming months when working with the company. Please give my regards to Ono-san and Yagi-san, I hope they are both well.
