- +Terran Downvale __Yes - it is tricky. One of the purposes of "true things for true reasons" is to lead us to "justified beliefs".
- If someone asserts something without sufficient proof then *even if it is true* - it remains a "shadow belief" (and we should not assert shadow beliefs as though they are facts about reality - or we end up sounding like "Jeff C").
- Our heads - from birth - *have been filled with a mess of shadow beliefs*. That is by design. Filling our heads with GARBAGE ensures we remain distracted and in conflict with each other.
- Distinguishing between "justified beliefs" and "shadow beliefs" is how we can go about "cleaning up the mess".
- And WE MUST DO THAT. We cannot avoid it! If you don't routinely tend to your garden it soon becomes an overgrown MESS. The same happens with our mind where each shadow belief functions like a weed.
- We have for too long been vulnerable to accepting falsehoods from those who we find charming - we must stop that! - and become far more "restrictive" etc.
