Bezaliel was born on Gavel Island, in between the two continent this area became a haven for many religious sects who were prosecuted for what was widely considered heresy, these groups after all praised vile Gods of death and destruction, and even among each other still found conflict with other groups.

This conflict only increased after the birth of Bezaliel, to his very human parents and the rest of their sect, devout followers of the god Set, he was a silver haired golden eyed miracle and a gift from their god validating their existence, to all other on the island he was the clearest sign of heresy, and unbeknownst to his family the blood of Celestials can simply lay dormant and awaken again for little reason, his true ancestry still remains a mystery.

Raised practically as a god and instructed in the ways of Set Bezaliel became arrogant and the teachings of what he believes to be his bloodline instilled a great sense of duty in him, all the groups around him who aimed to eradicate the people who had raised him were a lesser evil, they were followers of false gods and practitioners of blasphemous arts.

From then on Bezaliel knew his purpose in life was to hunt evil, for the sake of evil, as isolated as Gavel Island was it was still immense in size and filled with heretical sects who followed the wrong god. As he rode around the island with his group of inquisitors he honed his heretic hunting skills and proficiency with a wide variety of weapons, always favoring his spear.

After one particularly long journey he returned home to find his home in dire straits, he learned that three of the largest religious sects has formed an alliance and struck a deal with far off Kingdoms, in exchange for wiping out Set's Followers, they would be granted reprieve in lands away from Gavel Island they hoped to escape conflict by destroying his family.

The long and difficult battles began, and as soon as it seemed like they had a chance at victory as the rival sects attacks began to became less and less common, they soon understood why, in order to ensure their victory they call forth a power sorcerer, a Necromancer. A slight against the God of Death the necromancer commanded legions of the undead who made short work of nearly all of Set's followers only a select few managed to escape Bezaliel's own father being slayed in combat and his mother managing to escape, the small group forced to run and hide for their lives Bezaliel watched as the battle ended and the Legion no longer consumed the fallen but carried them away. He understood immediately what the fate of these corpses would be and he could not allow this fate to befall his fellow followers.

The faces of his fallen brethren were carved into his mind and he made his vows then and there goals that he would absolutely accomplish before his life could end.

Slay all the followers of Set who had surely become undead.

Slay the three High Priests of the rival sects who received safe haven

Kerbos, the Grippli priest of Tsathogga/Diar the Human priest of Orcus/Tezenga Half-Orc Priestess of  Bargrieke
