  30. + Born in bloodshed and cruelty from his Busan mafioso parents, Seo Jeongi has been exposed to violence and harsh realities at a very young age. Growing up in a household that only talked about finishing off enemies and taking control over assets, he didn't quite know how a regular family works. Jeongi learned how to fight at a young age; how to handle guns (which he hates), kicking a blow to someone's head hard enough to make them unconscious, and never trusting anyone. Not even your own family.

  32. His father was ruthless. He only cared about their business, their money and their properties. Jeongi's father was harsh on him his whole life. Any mistake he had done met with a severe punishment. The scars and stitches on his body are proof. Jeongi never acknowledged him as a father figure, but rather a dictator. On the contrary, his mother was the most wonderful person in his life. Despite the terrible treatment of his father to both of them, his mother stood strong and took care of him. Jeongi loved her so dearly. She was his saviour, his solace, his strength.

  34. A purge night he'd never forget had changed that. It was an enemy of his father, a group of men from another mafia who had come to claim back their territories. Jeongi, only thirteen at the time, and his mother were used as a hostage against his father, that if he didn't give his end of the bargain, they'd kill them. His father refused. Jeongi had lost his mother that night with a shot to the head. That night, he promised to himself that one day he's going to get revenge.

Scared that his father would lose Jeongi too, he had Jeongi move to Seoul with a trusted friend of his to look after him until he was old enough to take care of himself (he had killed the man in the annual purge when he was eighteen). He had trouble adjusting to the new environment. He was pushed into a new system, far from violence and hostility. Jeongi didn't know how to cope with it. Seeing his classmates laughing with their parents on graduation made him hate how different his parents were from the others. Those carefree smiles and postive disposition were an insult to him.

  38. He never skipped the annual purge eversince he moved to Seoul. One thing about Jeongi when it's purge is that he doesn't kill people like him. It's always those who are living so lavishly, the families who had their perfect life and their perfect smiles. The rich and the money-hungry. He won't hesitate to have some collateral damage if someone provokes him. He wears a leather plague doctor mask along with a white jacket over black shirt and fitted ripped jeans. He likes to paint the white jacket with blood during purge as a badge (of course he launders it thoroughly the next week like a madman). Jeongi is more of a melee type than guns, hence he kills his victims like he's batting for the big leagues.

  40. Overall, Jeongi is not really a good person. He could've been though, he's nice at times, but has an underlying sense of danger when he acts. His calm demeanor and monotoned voice can throw someone off once they get to know his true nature. He does care for others at times, but only for those who are like him. Broken and lost.

  88. + He tends to put herself down a lot. He sometimes she think he's useless and won't do much difference, started from his father's degradation towards him.

  91. + He is an outgoing person who also keeps to himself. He can share so much as he keeps secrets. Not a lot of things are known about him, but he would always tag along for some fun.

  94. + Meeting Jeongi on a normal day, you'll probably won't see anything wrong with him. It's because he acts like nothing is wrong, usually to push away people's concern and his own feelings. He got so good at pretending that he doesn't know what's real sometimes.

  97. + Despite having a skinny build, Jeongi is knowledgeable in basic arms use, hand-to-hand combat and takes up kickboxing during the weekends. He's agile, but uses his lanky appearance to make it seem like he's a weakling.
  98. + He's an accountant for his father's business (aka the debt of his father's victims). Has a side-gig as a webcomic artist.
  99. + Was diagnosed with anti-social personality disorder and major depressive disorder when he was nineteen. He rarely takes medication for these.
  100. + Hangs around subdivisions a month before purge week, just so he can take note on who to kill at that point in time.

He discovered his liking to fire after an incident when he was younger, wherein his mother had left a candle in his room and he decided to play with it. A curtain got caught on fire and he faced a terrible punishment from his father, but he loved the feeling of warmth from the burn.
  105. + He has tattoos on his arms, hands and shoulders. They don't quite follow a theme, but Jeongi has reasons for getting them. Even the tiniest cross on his thumb has a backstory.
