The orks had brought their artillery, but it was too spread out to be effective. Their fire was undisciplined, raining everywhere on the plain and at the base. It was more of a threat to the greenskins than it was to the Legion. A shell landed a few metres away from Vaughn. The explosion knocked him into the air, but he landed on his feet.
