  1. from /hhg/ Hazbin Hotel general #553
  2. --------
  3. Been watching a lot of The New Order custom superevents, and an autistic idea popped into my mind: making the same, but for the various potential outcomes of each character's arc (considering that's what these superevents are).
  4.
  5. I have a couple of ideas, but I'd be interested in what you guys think.
  6. -
  7. i like it
  8. -
  9. Well, since only one of you fuckers responded to this, I'll just hash out what I had in mind, and see if anyone else bites.
  10.
  11. Format is simple:
  12. >Unique name of outcome
  13. [music associated with event]
  14. (any additional info regarding music)
  15. "The button and quote that confirms the event."
  16. And some basic details about it.
  17.
  18. >ANGEL DUST ENDINGS
  19. He has 8 of them by default (because spider jokes):
  20.
  21. >The First Redemption
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4oWwldP0VE&feature=emb_title
  23. (wasn't certain what song to use here, so this is just a placeholder for the time being. No effects)
  24. "A New Angel in Heaven"
  25. The default, boring good ending.
  26.
  27. >Still Addicted
  28. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u45T9QC5Bzo&feature=emb_title
  29. (the music gets more and more distorted, and is eventually muffled by the sound of a strip club, violence, and soft sobbing)
  30. "Who's a good little slut?"
  31. The default bad ending, with Angel ending up back in Valentino's grasp.
  32.
  33. >Broken Free
  34. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_zOV_rKVdE
  35. (music plays with the sound of gunfire and explosions in the distance, the sound of glasses being chinked together and two people drinking towards the end)
  36. "Time To Raise Hell!"
  37. Neutral Ending: Angel is free from Val's grasp, but remains unredeemed, siding with Cherri to bring anarchy upon Pentagram.
  38.
  39. >The Lavender Flag
  40. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XKMwWZVpPE&feature=emb_title
  41. (fully instrumental version of the song, eventually muffled by the sound of cheering crowds, and then, abruptly, gunfire, glass breaking, and roaring fire)
  42. "Sex Workers of Pentagram, Untie!"
  43. The kinda-good, kinda-bad ending: Angel is inspired by Charlie, but still deems her idea to be too lofty. So, he decides to bring change on his own, by helping the other prostitutes escape Val's grasp - through protest or through violence, whichever works.
  44.
  45. Continuing with the second half...
  46. ---
  47. >Syndicated
  48. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK7ckqNwX8Q&feature=emb_title
  49. (music plays over the sound of corks popping, people talking and laughing, with the muffled sounds of gunshots, so quiet you could ALMOST mistake them for another bottle being opened, ends with someone chinking the glass as if preparing to make a speech, causing the music and the people to fall silent, while one, last muffled gunshot rings out)
  50. "The Prodigal Son makes a New Home"
  51. Good-ish Bad ending: Angel kills Val, but decides to claim his "throne", becoming the new overlord and running the show the way his family knows best. On the one hand, he's still mired in sex and violence, on the other, he got his act together, and the Hotel had gained a very powerful ally... So long as they don't get preachy.
  52.
  53. >Il Duce Delle Puttane
  54. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=et1UrM6-phM&feature=emb_title
  55. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0w15SidfXPA&feature=emb_title
  56. (first song begins to plays on what sounds like an old record, cracking and popping, and eventually, it just ends up stuck, before suddenly interrupted by an explosion, followed by the second song, accompanied by the sound of marching and an Italian voice yelling over loudspeakers, followed by the sound of a window closing, muffling all previous sounds, and someone taking a deep, ragged breath and giving a long sigh)
  57. "The Black Banner Unfurls"
  58. A bad ending, combining some ideas we've thrown around. Angel kills Val, and takes his place as overlord, but, feeling like he had betrayed Charlie, and at the same time, feeling betrayed by everyone, he adopts a persona reminiscent of the one he used to irk his father. Except this time, it's for real, and the march on Pentagram begins.
  59.
  60.
  61. STILL not enough place to finish this fucking thing!
  62. Continuing...
  63. ---
  64. >All Washed Up
  65. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CwWyEV1WaM
  66. (the "song" begins by the ambient sound of wind, followed by the sound of someone trying to play "Itsy Bitsy Spider" on an out-of-tune piano, fumbling the keys, before finally managing to nail the final line perfectly, but in a sad, minor version)
  67. "Deemed Unredeemable"
  68. Second-worst ending: His addiction proves too strong, to the point where he becomes useless to everyone, even Cherri. He ends up alone and cold on the streets, his mind falling apart from the drugs, and his body screaming from the withdrawal.
  69.
  70. >Angel of Death
  71. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyQJnSIVSe0
  72. (song is preceded and accompanied by the sound of someone running and breathing heavily, stopping a couple of times to catch their breath, before the sound of the floor creaking causes them to start running again, eventually running into a closed door which they desperately try to open, as the creaking on the floor draws closer and closer, ending with a gasp, followed by a scream that gets cut short)
  73. "Send 'em ta Heaven, limb by limb..."
  74. The Cursed ending: Angel fucking snaps and begins killing the others - subtly at first, but then going all-out. Whatever triggers his breakdown is up for suggestions, but it has to be big.
  75. ------------
  76. So, which other character's Superevents would you guys like to see?
  77. -
  78. husk
  79. -
  80. Alright. Husk has a number of end states, but less "normal" ones (ones that aren't dependent on greater changes occurring in Hell's society).
  81. By default most characters only have three endings - one good, one bad, and one neutral. These endstates don't affect the endstates of others.
  82. Angel has eight because he's a major character (and, you know, spider motif).
  83. Husk has the standard three by default, plus a couple of others related to how the other characters change.
  84.
  85. >Rest, Old Soldier
  86. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtgHwVj_gMY&feature=emb_title
  87. (the song plays without the bugles in the beginning - the way it's performed is reminiscent of Pink Floyd's "Outside the Wall", from the "The Wall" movie)
  88. "Your War is Over, You've Won"
  89. The Good ending for Husk, where he gets redeemed and goes to Heaven.
  90.
  91. >Back to the Table
  92. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sI_Ps7JSEk&feature=emb_title
  93. (with the sounds of a bar and casino playing softly over it)
  94. "Long night ahead of us"
  95. Husk leaves the Hotel, no worse than when he arrived - in fact, he may even found he has a heart knocking about somewhere under his furry chest. But it just made him realize that redemption is (at least, for now) out of the question. The Neutral ending.
  96.
  97. >All that's left...
  98. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CudYgvGGcgY&feature=emb_title
  99. (this plays over the sound of rain, and the general ambience of a seedy urban neighborhood, ending with a cat screaming)
  100. "Just a husk..."
  101. The Bad Ending, with Husk completely succumbing to his alcoholism beyond any capability to function, whilst also alienating the others so much that he's effectively left for death outside, like a hobo.
  102.
  103. >Old Soldier in Arms
  104. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLr-SQHFuJ8&feature=emb_title
  105. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srG9hIY6Edg
  106. (first music begins playing on what sounds like an old portable radio, before it begins to fade into static, allowing an instrumental version of the second song to kick in, followed by machine-gun fire and explosions)
  107. "War Never Changes"
  108. Husk becomes a military leader in Hell's civil war.
  109. -
  110. More Husker events...
  111.
  112. >Drink's On Me, Boys!
  113. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-W__3GRS8o&feature=emb_title
  114. (an Electro Swing remix of the song - couldn't find any so you'll just have to settle with the original)
  115. "Lady Luck, be my Love Tonight!"
  116. A possible neutral-to-bad ending in the "Hazbin Brothel" event sequence, where Husk, rather than becoming a bouncer of barman, becomes a crossdressing performer and croupier under the moniker "Lady Luck".
  117.
  118. >A New Hell
  119. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPvK5p94rTA&feature=emb_title
  120. (no effects. None are needed)
  121. "It Happened, Even Here"
  122. Husk's final, personal surrender in the "Dictator Charlie" timeline, as he realizes he helped a dictator rise to power, and he's too old and tired to anything else but to submit, and hope he's spared.
  123.
  124. "Ride the Lightning"
  125. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIh3nO6-V_A&feature=emb_title
  126. (the end of the song over the sound of drunken revelry which slowly devolves into an all-out bar fight, ending with someone getting decked in the stomach and throwing up)
  127. "Drink, and Be Merry!"
  128. Husk's unique Bad Ending for the "Gnostic Collapse" event sequence (also known as "Heaven is Gone"), where he accelerates his own gluttony in order to escape the blatant hopelessness of the world.
  129.
  130.
  131. Next up is Pentious, as >>35670783 requested.
  132. ---
  133. The only thing your missing is an inspirational or interesting quote, fake or otherwise, to go along with the event.
  134.
  135. Keep up the good stuff otherwise.
  136.
  137. >Rest, Old Soldier
  138. "A toast, to friends gone, but never forgotten - Charlotte Magne"
  139. Of all the downtrodden sinners to enter the pearly gates, who would have expected a mentally scarred drunk? If a Husk of a man could do ascend, why not others?
  140. ""Your War is Over, You've Won""
  141.
  142.
  143. >Back to the Table
  144. "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on - Robert Frost"
  145. Husk comes to the realisation that perhaps there is more to life than just reaching for another bottle. Now he must only seize the moment.
  146. ""Long night ahead of us""
  147.
  148.
  149. >All that's left...
  150. “Some of those who have killed themselves would readily kill themselves again if they could - Mokokoma Mokhonoana"
  151. Just one more drink to forget everything. No one has ever truly cared about me.
  152. ""Just a husk...""
  153.
  154.
  155. >Old Soldier in Arms
  156. "The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him - G.K. Chesterton"
  157. Husk discovers a new calling, that of war. He dedicates his days to a war he cares nothing about, for a prize he will never attain.
  158. ""War Never Changes""
