The Patron God of Swordsmen – Master of Blades, Tethrin Veralde.

Son of Corellon Larethian and Sehanine Moonbow, lover of Kirith Sotheril, and member of the Seldarine, Tethrin Veralde is the Master of Blades.

The patron god of bladesingers and swordsmen, Tethrin believes in the power of Elven blades and magic to win the battle. And as such, he encourages his followers to use their skill and ability to protect and further the Elven cause, whether it be reclaiming land, or dominating their enemies in battle.

Followers of Tethrin are rare, each interpreting their duties slightly differently, but one thing ties them together – Mastering their weapon. In doing this, they earn the respect of their god, their peers, and most importantly; their enemies. Some believe that they should use their ability exclusively for Elven causes, while other believe that their overall goal should be to help any who need, – and deserve – their skills. These followers will, in some way, bear the colours of Tethrin; a mix of blues and silvers.

Tethrin’s holy days fall on the same day as Corellon and Sehahine’s. On these days, his followers are encouraged to celebrate by hosting a show or tournament, in which they show off their fighting skills in an attempt to bring in new converts. These fights are referred to as “Tethrin’s Match”, and whether they bring in new members or not, are often popular for the fighting itself.

Tethrin and his lover, Kirith Sotheril reside on Arvandor, where after their death, followers of The Blade Master will train together for an eternity, bettering themselves with each passing day.
