▋PERSONALITY ¦

   ⤷ “Um, is it just me or did that boy
      quickly take a u-turn right after
      taking a glance at me?...”

    PEOPLE who were also born with a
    resting bitch face can probably relate
    to the struggles Hyejoo encounter on a
    daily basis——and it’s worse that she’s
    actually an extroverted person on the
    inside who likes to be around people so
    she‘s always working extra, extra hard
    to ensure others that she not as scary
    as she looks. those who have known her
    for a while and had gotten to know her
    true personality have little to no problem
    with this but there’s still a few occasions
    where Hyejoo would fall into a little
    predicament because someone took her
    monotonous facial expression the wrong way.

    IT DOES get a bit tiring to almost always be
    the one who’s making the first move since few
    find the courage to approach her, but she’s
    gotten so used to doing so, it’s kind of
    natural for her now——though her smiles can
    still tend to come off a bit awkward or
    forced when she’s nervous. you just have
    to see past her deadpan exterior because
    it’s guaranteed you'll find her completely
    different than she looks once you do.

   DESPITE HER AGE, this girl is downright
   silly and playful——always goofing off,
   seeming to have zero worries about the
   future and seeks for the fun things in life.
   she’s also a tad of an airhead who‘s stuck
   in her own little world, totally oblivious
   and disconnected from everything that’s
   happening around her. she’s sometime say
   things that are so illogical her friends
   would question how on earth did she manage
   to survive in this world up until now. (like,
   how can someone be so gullible / stupid???)
   she completely has no common sense and the
   worse memory ever, often needing others guide
   or have them step in and fix the situation
   before things get out of hand.

   SHE IS described to be a complete idiot
   by her fellow peers, but her dumb and
   supposedly ‘slow brain’ are all merely
   just a show she had put on to mask how
   smart she actually is. Hyejoo just doesn’t
   want to intimidate others even further by
   being a smart ass so she decided to play it
   low a long time ago. she keeps up the act
   surprisingly well, though there still are
   times when she forgets to maintain her
   clueless and dimwitted disposition, which
   almost gets her cover blown if not for her
   quick and close saves.


 ▋CHILDHOOD BACKGROUND ¦
    ⤷ THROUGHOUT HER LIFE, Hyejoo had never
  stayed in one country for over 9 years,
  usually needing to move right after she
  adapted to her surroundings. she was born
  in melbourne, australia to a korean couple
  and had spent her early years there too, until
  her family had to relocate to new zealand when
  she was about 8 years old due to her father’s
  occupation. she doesn’t really recall what it
  was like in new zealand as it was merely just
  a short pitstop because before she knew it,
  they had to pack their bags and fly to another
  country again, right after Hyejoo wrapped up her
  first year in middle school. she struggled more
  after the second move to china though, for the
  new language and culture change was so different
  from what she had learnt and known. she continued
  on the rest of her middle school and high school
  days in china, which was a pretty nice change as
  it’s been a while since she had stayed in one
  place for that long yet she also started itching
  to get somewhere new.

    ⤷ IN THE END, Hyejoo decided to be on the
  move again as she looked and applied for
  colleges in south korea instead, since she
  had always wanted to experience and see what
  her parents’ home country was like. she had
  been on edge for weeks, waiting for at least
  one letter of acceptance and thankfully, Hyejoo
  was able to recieve one in her hands. ecstatic
  that she’d finally be getting to experience
  college life after hearing many people talk
  about theirs, she almost forgot that it’d also
  be the first time she’s living so far away from
  her parents since they wouldn’t be able to
  accompany her on this journey. leaving the nest
  is a pretty scary thing to do (or even think
  about, for that matter) but Hyejoo has been
  doing surprisingly well on her own once she
  had settled down. up until now, she’s still
  residing in south korea and currently works
  as a radio personality after graduating from
  college as a communications student.


 ▋FAMILY BACKGROUND ¦
    ⤷ A TINY PEEK AT HER PARENTS’ HISTORY,
  they met at a hotel in new zealand due to
  a small mix-up of rooms. her father was
  there for a research project while her mother,
  a flight attendant, was staying there for a
  night before her flight the next day. these
  things happen, so they didn’t think much of it
  and just dealt with the situation before going
  their respective ways but apparently fate said
  otherwise and they ended up forming a friendship
  after coming across each other on the same plane
  the next day. it was a bit difficult for people
  like them to maintain or even start a
  relationship, especially since they were often
  apart from each other in long distances for
  most of the time they’ve known each other, but
  her parents managed to stay strong and worked
  it out. after dating for 3 years, they’ve
  decided to tie the knot and had Hyejoo about
  2 years later when their jobs were both
  temporarily situated in melbourne, where they
  had stayed for quite a long while.

    ⤷ AS THE ONLY DAUGHTER of parents with jobs
   that have hectic and unexpected schedules,
   she was constantly moving around due to them
   as well. the fact that she could never really
   settle down in one place never really bothered
   Hyejoo though——because one, she’s basically
   gotten accustomed to this lifestyle and two,
   she thought it was nice to be able to learn
   new culture and meet different kinds of people.
   though she only gets to see her parents
   together in the same house once in a blue moon,
   but they’re both lovely and understanding people
   who worked out a schedule where they could
   usually take turns taking care of her so Hyejoo
   rarely felt lonely. she also flies with her
   mother from time to time, so she was able to
   visit a lot of countries and different cities
   even if it was just for one or two days. she
   also has opportunities to get a lot of
   knowledge from her father and also, took an
   interest in learning because of that.


 ▋HABITS ¦
    ⤷ starts to nonstop blabber on and on
    whenever she’s too excited or anxious

   ꒰ + will also continue until someone
    tells her to slow down and breathe. ꒱

    ⤷ whenever she gets startled,
     she’ll get a bad case of hiccups

    ⤷ has to listen to soft music
     to be able to fall asleep

   ꒰ + it was a habit of hers as a child
   since her mother would always play some
   music to soothe her to sleep and now she
   finds it hard to quit. ꒱

     before proceeding to act out whatever
     she wanted to explain with actions
     instead of using her words like a
     game of charades.

    ⤷ the love interest noticing that
  Hyejoo had been upset about something
  all day which also made him sad to see
  her in that state, ( and a bit frustrated
  since he wants to do something to help
  but can’t when he’s stuck as a kid ) he
  probably resorts to being obedient and
  giving her as much physical comfort as
  he could which did successfully get her
  to feel a bit better.

     ⤷ the group going on a trip to the zoo
  (or aquarium) together because mini bangtan
  kept begging to go. it could overall be a
  memorable and fun day after all the chaos
  that happens along the way.

     ⤷ Hyejoo waking up to the sound of crying
  to discover it was only the love interest who
  was having a nightmare. he was still in deep
  sleep so she just wanted to comfort / calm him
  down without waking him up but ends up falling
  asleep beside him until the next morning.

     ⤷ one of the girls accidentally mixing
  up her stroller with someone else’s since
 they look exactly the same——only to realize
 this after everyone had walked a good amount
 of distance (or after they left the place where
 the strollers got switched) panicking, everyone
 quickly sets off to find the lost child.


 ▋RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA/S ¦
     ⤷ Hyejoo likes dressing him up nicely
   before going out and takes so many photos
   of him she probably ends up with 300+
   new photos after going back home.

     ⤷ the love interest always insists that
   he can walk around on his own but ends up
   gripping onto her hand tightly or asking for
   her to pick him up anyway after stumbling
   over something.

     ⤷ Hyejoo loves, loves, loves squishing
   the love interest’s cheeks + poking his dimples
   while showering him with endless compliments.

     ⤷ whenever he’s sulking (which he does
   really often) one of the fastest ways to get
   him to smile again aside from giving him what
   he wants, is if Hyejoo gives him kisses on
   the cheek.

   ꒰ + she was a bit reluctant about this at
   first, (since the love interest is technically
   still her friend) but she’s just gotten too
   soft for him and gave in. ꒱

     ⤷ every time the love interest falls
   or gets injured, he’d also beg Hyejoo to
   kiss the places he got hurt, since it would
   ‘shoo away’ the pain.

     ⤷ Hyejoo brings gummy candy around
   with her and would reward him (or possibly
   the other bts kids too) with some whenever
   they’re being good.

     ⤷ he clings onto Hyejoo like a baby koala,
   always refusing to let go so he often ends
   up falling asleep on her back or in her arms.

   bites or (attempts) to fight anyone he deems
   dangerous to Hyejoo. (for example: pigeons)
   thinks his growls are menacing when in reality
   it’s just...cute...

   and is always wandering off whenever something
   catches his interest so Hyejoo panics on
   a daily since she loses sight of him often.

      ⤷ even though he’s a child, that doesn’t
   stop him from questioning things. for example;
   he’ll often ask Hyejoo what specific words
   mean or some hypothetical questions which
   forces her to rack her brain for answers.


▋HOW DOES SHE HANDLE KIDS? ¦

  ⤷ despite squealing and melting upon
 the sight of children, Hyejoo slightly gets
 nervous around them as well——especially
 with children who are below the age of 5,
 she’s just really scared of accidentally
 hurting them since they’re so fragile and
 innocent so Hyejoo usually does her best to
 be extra careful with children. she also speaks
 in a gentle, lively tone whenever talking to
 one, making sure to never raise her voice at them.

 it looks like she has no problem with kids but
 no matter how calm she may look on the outside,
 she still highkey panics whenever one starts to
 cry——which sadly, happens quite often since most
 babies gets frightened after taking a glance at
 Hyejoo in her ‘resting bitch face mode’. but no
 matter what, it’s a known fact that Hyejoo’s
 actually great at playing around with children
 and making them laugh or stay entertained thanks
 to her childish nature. she just needs a little
 bit of help when it comes to taking care of them.
