  1. NOTE: This thing reallllly needs to be updated badly.
  2.
  3. "BHA" story universe basics
  4. Current stories using this basis:
  5.
  6. Basic rundown: The BHA story universe was originally created as an easy way to hand-wave away the apparent distance between greentext universes and try to establish a sort of baseline. You in no way have to use this story or idea to start with, but it exists as an easy base to build with.
  7.
  8. Vanishing: An event that has been recently on the rise, with shocking results. People started to vanish in large numbers randomly all across the globe. As the numbers ramped up, sudden large scale disappearances also began to occur. One of the first large vanishings was an entire city, followed by a vineyard and a nearby mountain, and while slowing it would appear that larger vanishings will continue. While there is no set reason for people to vanish, it would appear to always happen around a major emotional event.
  9.
  10. Anonymous: In all cases of vanishing, you are left alone. No matter how big the area you bring with you, you will wake up entirely and utterly alone. All of the items transported with you will appear as if abandoned only yesterday. Regardless of size, though legally advised to downsize your claim so you can receive ownership much faster, you will be granted ownership of any nearby transported items within reason. Military grade weapons and vehicles will be stripped from you, though uniform, rank, and other surplus may still be yours. When you are found by the BHA, and recovered via a task force, they will see to it that you have a helping hand in the start of your new life. From that day forward, you will be called "Anonymous" as with all humans that appear out of thin air.
  11.
  12. Anthros: The main inhabitants of the world you find yourself in, anthros aren't perfect examples of what someone would think they are. Instincts run high with some anthros, meaning that while they are civil, many anthros find impulses make them more animalistic. Most adopt the "ticks" their wild cousins would have, such as scavengers eating whatever they can find, predators having underlying predatory urges (sexual or otherwise), and some anthros even going further and becoming an unwilling victim of their own instincts. Such examples include anthros that will go into a semi-comatose state during winter, animals that normally only have partners for breeding purposes in the wild being distrusting of people that want long term relationships, or even intense predatory urges to the point that some anthros "hunt" for their mates. Some find humor in just how "human" the anthros would seem to be.
  13.
  14. The BHA: The Bureau of Human Assistance (BHA), formerly known as the Bureau of Anomalous Human Acquisition (BAHA), exists as a sort of counter balance to ICE. Rather than focusing on deporting the technically illegal immigrants they very literally appear out of thin air, they are in charge of getting them on their feet. Having been restructured in an event known as "The tusk up" a former president decided to give them a lot more power and a new name, following an on air snafu referring to humans that arrived as Anonymous rather than the previously official Anomalous. This shake up did give the newly restructured what could be seen as almost unlimited power, but poorly written goals and guidelines also made this power nearly fully unusable in most cases. On the flip side, small uses of power and tax breaks for the agency are easily exploited, allowing for them to easily assist people in joining the BHA should they wish, or even paying for their transportation and housing until they can get on their feet.
  15. Intercept team alpha: The main task force for bring people back into society consists of a female tiger with green eyes known as Jasmine, a rather large thickly accented Texan called Romeo "Cajun", and a smaller framed more openly friendly Hispanic man known as Carson. They make up Intercept team alpha, and when not doing their own unique jobs they normally get sent on the road to search suddenly appeared buildings for the possible sole survivor. While unlikely to see much of Carson or Romeo, most all anonymous individuals known the initially very happy to help Jasmine. She has made it her job to do her best to see that people adjust well into society, and has on occasion helped make people feel more at home by buying them more "unofficial" documents (such as but not limited to specific anthro porn magazines). Jasmine always strives to be friendly and help anonymous people to meet others and make friends, but those who try to befriend her quickly realize she herself is a very shy and timid creature.
  16.
  17. Sex: You probably aren't having it. If you are though...
  18.
  19. Sexual information: A thing to note about anthros is that they aren't like normal animals sexually. Outside of kinks and partnership, the average anthro is still very able to become pregnant from sexual contact with a human. While the average rate of a pregnancy occurring between an anthro and a human is only 7%, the figure isn't exactly wide spread, and may even be a lot lower than 7% as studies are still inconclusive. In the case of anthro breeding with a genetically distant partner, the child will take on the species and most traits from the mother, though will usually take eye or (head)hair color from the father. In the case of less distant breeding partners, an anthro may find they give birth to a hybrid. These hybrids will usually still tend to be closer in appearance to their mother, though they will also display a large series of possible defects and unfortunate conditions. Such conditions include, but are not limited to: Odd fur patterns, correctly pattered but wrongly colored fur, "calico" styles fur patches of varying mother/father fur patterns, color atrophication in fur color (leading to spots of white fur where it was formerly colored in a pattern), unusual vocal capabilities (Ie: foxes being able to bark, cats gaining the ability to purr), and many other variations of mutations.

  21. While only a basic covering, and more lore to be built at a later time, feel free to use this universe to start your own story. A safe way to link your story to the BHA universe is to mention how Jasmine helped you find a home.
