Intent With Rank/Skills/Knowledge: Could possibly be Evil? Could possibly be a force for Good? His primary task is always to protect Lycans and other packs, no matter what the cause maybe. With him being very young, there is a range of possible paths he might take.

Lucien Mikaelson was born among several brothers and sisters as a warrior who would one day protect his village much like his father. While in the first stage of life, Lucien did not appear too much different from his brothers and sisters outside of his gifted ability for combat and overwhelming physical stature even as a child. During his training he impressed his father as well as terrified him, but it wasn't until after he began to question his true nature that questions now began to be pressured upon his mother. This reveals the infidelity in their marriage with Lucien's father not being his true father, but that of his namesake. This changed the dynamic of Lucien's relationship with his father.

What was once training now became abuse and a way of venting on the boy, but also a time of discovery. Lucien's true father was not human and it became evident through him. Cuts, bruises, and even broken limbs began to heal beyond human comprehension. This all came to a boiling head when he turned thirteen. He had physically reached maturity as well as his body prepared for its first full moon transformation. It was a painful process and because his mother was unfamiliar on how to truly raise a Lycan/Werewolf which would prove to be dangerous.

Blood curdling screams were heard as they witnessed the boy transform into a monstrous humanoid wolf. Lucien hardly recalls what happened that night, but one thing he remembers is his lust to tear into everyone in the village including his family. For him this was his natural predatory instincts brought to the surface. Most 'newborn' wolves would have left the village in a pile of bodies and blood torn to shreds, but it was the howl from a distance that saved them from it. It was this call from the pack that brought Lucien into a moment of control and would instinctively run off to join the wild.

No longer a threat to his village, Lucien is now in the wild hunting for the howl of the pack that now called him. He didn't understand why he needed to follow the directions, but it became all too clear. Now he was surrounded by the wolves that called him and among them was the Alpha, his father. Instinctively because he had never been around other lycans he attacked the Alpha who toyed with him momentarily to let him work off the steam. It gave Lucien a chance to spread out years of repression, aggression, and give him a chance to 'enjoy' his first full moon. After being wrangled in by the Alpha, Lucien is guided in his first hunt in the wild.

The next day Lucien would awake in the forest surrounded by a group of men and women with his father, Axel, sitting among them. Lucien had already known he was different and that his mother had been with this man once before, and because of his transformation into a wolf, he would not be able to go back home. With this group of Lycans, Lucien would begin to learn more about his kind and his abilities. With the world being as broad as they explained to him and there being more Lycan packs other than his fathers, he would grow curious and proceed to travel to see in what ways he could aid other Lycan and his kind.
