- For the new ones here, Here some quick tips on how to stay " anonymous " online.
- 1.) When registering on websites that you feel are unsecure, use a temporary email (https://10minutemail.com).
- WARNING: Don't use this for an IMPORTANT accounts such as Google or any online banking accounts such as Bitcoin or Paypal, being you will not be able to request a password reset.
- 2.) When calling phone numbers that seem shady or un-trustworthy, use this phone number spoofer (https://www.spooftel.com/freecall/)
- WARNING: Anything you use this tool for is completely in your hands, therefore, you're actions become your consequences.
- 3.) Use a VPN online to keep your IP-Address safe from " hackers " . Here are some VPN's ( free: https://www.betternet.co/) ( cheap: https://crypticvpn.com/)
- WARNING: Depending on what VPN you are using, there may be logs, so you are not 100% safe from government agencies.
- 4.) Do not use the same password for every single website, incase a website's database is breached, you're passwords are safe, along with emails if you followed step 1.
- WARNING: Hehe, there is no warning!
- 5.) Keeping you're location/IP safe on the web. I personally suggest using Tor. (https://www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser.html.en)
- WARNING: Some people say that Tor is backdoored by the government, however I personally do not believe it.
- 6.) Don't use personal Socail Media accounts. If you are going to be " anonymous " online it is best you don't have any personal Social Media. However, if you do, I would suggest pressing CTRL + F on the page, and searching your aliases, If they appear, remove them. If you are unable to, it is best to remove the page.
- WARNING: Again, No warning because this is what's best to do.
