You wake up in a small room, filled with bunk beds and hammocks. The walls are metal. the floors are metal, the ceilings are metal... Everything's metal, and the metal creaks and groans like you're inside a great beast, slowly dying.
Technically, that's not wrong. You are aboard the vessel known as Io, a submarine that not long ago was researching the depths, now cursed by a turn of fate to lie here evermore, her engines broken, hull breached, and the remaining crew now waiting for a rescue vessel, which will be coming in a few days. This information is imparted to you by the speakers, by a voice that introduces himself as Captain Cobalt. He says that the breach has been sealed, barely, but now there are only four rooms not submerged; one of the crew quarters, which you are in, the captain's office, the operations room and the medical bay. He begs anyone still alive to come to the captain's quarters.
You have no idea how you got here.
You don't even know entirely where "here" is.
Why were you on the submarine? Why is the submarine sinking? Will you survive?
Only time and luck will tell.

Triton, (Or Cobalt, as he is more often known) is a lax, easy going guy who enjoys sleeping as much as he enjoys sailing, which is a lot. He's often a little slow to respond to people, and tends to be very lackadaisical and laid-back about life. When he's working, however, he's a completely different person, hard-working and strong as an ox, something he probably gets from his father. He's a man of little words, with a low voice and blue eyes as deep as the sea, and wavy brown hair that reaches down to his shoulders. He usually just wears a t-shirt and cargo pants, but sometimes he'll wear a blue knit jumper if it's cold out. He's as strong as he is kind, but easily baffled by computers and technology in general.
