1 doesn't actually feature chunky travelman, we play as his father from the alternate reality, which is controlled by something called Twitch Chat

2 is in deep future, where Chunky Travelman was stored in carbonite for 222.2 years and was unleashed to retrieve the most chunky cheese in Land of Oz, which is actually not Land of Oz that deep into the future due to shenanigans of infection thing (which is actually just silliness produced by Twitch Chat and spread across multiverse to cause death from too much chaos and for funny), it's now controlled by insane god jester, Oplo Retaso.

3 is not canon, due to featuring Chunky Travelman-father and Chunky Travelman-son becoming lovers and birthing a Oplo Retaso, but it is a good introduction to actual motivations for Twitch Chat corrupting the world with infection and their actual enemies, the Forgers; they created the story of Chunky Travelman 3 to create enough materials to summon The Devourer of Gods from yet another alternate reality for help

4 runs in parallel with 1, but that's because of a timeloop created by Forgers to trick Twitch Chat into destroying their own chaos infection and stopping their reign of realities for good. anyway, Chunky Travelman-father splits into Chunky Travelman-uncle and Chunky Travelman-mother because of machine that actually is supposed to summon The Devourer of Gods, but cannot do that due to USA-based conspiracy, that is connected to producing the finest cheese to spite horseman. horseman are important because their lust and machination actually created Chunky Travelman-grandfather and First Chatter in 1963, causing Chunky Travelman series to begin in first place

5 tells a story of The Devourer of Gods and how their sentinels actually fought Twitch Chat, but couldn't win because they were unaware of them being AI bosses in American terribly produced video game. To solve such issue, DoG created the Forgers and mother of Oplo Retaso from his own imagination, pride and pure soul and sent them to main reality; this was successful until Pure Vessel was locked down and stopped any dream-based creatures from appearing physically in his world. this was bad since Chunky Travelman-grandfather had to find his wife in false world of dreams to continue his journey and legacy as the best chunky cheese collector. so the deal between Travelman-grandfather and USA was created to create horseman from DoG's imagination, so USA could keep producing cheese and horseman could keep producing hatred and chaos, keeping both Twitch Chat and Chunky Travelman family alive
