He's a total ass. Never spent on infrastructure, the servers are only protected by Windows Firewall, not even a router. Developers machines are bought at Best Buy and are garbage, mine would completely lock up 5 to 10 times a day while I was programming pages. I managed to get one built custom for Stacey when he was on vacation, Rick authorized it. The thing flew, was bulletproof, and cost less than store bought garbage. On the MySQL side, there were no slave databases, and backups are done with simple xcopy on live database files, any backup had to be rebuilt because it was automatically corrupt, that's why it took hours to recover alphaworld if it was corrupted/vandalized/hacked etc.
