  1. Hey all. Sorry about being dead (streaming wise) for the past three weeks or so. I think my last stream was March 29th, although I could be wrong since my past broadcasts don't go back that far. Oh well.
  2.
  3. TL;DR:
  4. -DKC3 Streams starting again in May.
  5. -Try to stream 3-4 days a week again. BIG IF. I'm a huge flake.
  6. -Switch to BT 100% in mid July for 1545%.
  7. -Switch to DK64 101% (N64) OR back to SNES after the 1545%.
  8.
  9. Essentially, I'm still practicing DKC3 103% whenever I can, but lately I've been wrapped up with Diablo 3 and the new Hearthstone expansion. However, since I have all but stopped playing D3 for this season, it's time to move back to speedruns. Does that mean I will stream these?
  10.
  11. Well, not necessarily. I've made it no secret that my motivation to stream has all but died, and that I only do it when my friends convince me to. I do enjoy streaming for people to watch, but my lack of not caring how my stream grows over time shows itself whenever I stream a game that's not Banjo-Tooie. But, it is good to have a backup for local recording, and it does keep me focused on what I'm doing as opposed to watching another stream when I do offline attempts.
  12.
  13. After saying all of that, I do intend to stream again. It just won't be until...let's say the beginning of May. This is because of the DotA2 Kiev Major, which I plan on watching for all of that week (April 24-30). After that, it's back to DKC3 103%. No guarantees on how long I will stream or on what days, but the """"plan"""" is for 3-4 days a week @ 3-4 hours each day. Start off small, and might scale it to be bigger over time.
  14.
  15. I plan on playing DKC3 until mid July, when I'll stop for a week and practice Banjo-Tooie 100% in preparation for the 1545% race (http://pastebin.com/35iunjWY for more info on that). After that is where it becomes interesting. Part of me wants to stick with SNES and go back to DKC2 (or DKC3 if I haven't met my goal time yet). Part of me wants to go back to DK64 101% and get a better time (especially with all the new time saves being found over the past few days).
  16.
  17. I do want to make one thing clear, however. IF I DO RETURN to DK64 AT ANY POINT, IT WILL BE ON NINTENDO 64. At this point of speedrunning, having good controls is all that matters to me. Lag doesn't matter. Time doesn't matter if it's because of lag. I am absolutely tired of playing games that have dead zone or bad controls. I just won't do it anymore. I realize it will make practice much harder due to no save states, but we'll see how it goes. My tolerance level with the game is the lowest for any game I play. The second I feel frustrated running the game I will drop it, no questions asked.
  18.
  19. Anyway, if you read the whole thing, thanks! Also, sorry about the length. Just stuff that needed to be said. Obviously, I change my mind on things like I change my underwear, so be ready for May to roll around and me not hold true to my commitments. I'm really good at that.
