- # Self-Hosting at Home
- 1. Start a service (eg. file manager server) on your computer.
- 2. Configure your router to forward incoming traffic on port 80 to your laptop's server port.
- 3. Create an A record on your domain that point to your home's IP address, with whatever subdomain you'd like.
- 4. Make a script to regularly update your DNS when your IP changes. (aka Dynamic DNS)
