About Craft, Physis booklet and Vile incident confirm he's been around ever since the NA foundation
Ah yeah, remember the trailers the resistance uses in Z4? The 3rd trailer is girls' living space, 4th trailer is guys' living space (Zero included)
Oh true, reading Mandagora stage comment, it was said in game that another rebel group had been using it as a base
Also, the lake in Area Zero is actually the crater itself, and the camp is on the lakeside
The "prison" was actually a frontline base made for operation Ragnarok and Hel the Giant was brought there by Vile
Apparently he was sentenced as a maverick by NA (before Vile came back) and imprisoned somewhere
Then Vile brought him there and told him he'd set him free if he beat Zero (probably a big lie anyway)
It could simply be that Vile told him "if you see this guy named Zero, beat the crap outta him"
And so when Zero comes in he roars "So you're Zero, huh!?"
Yeah. he does speak in a simple kid-like form so it can be interpreted as "you're Zero", too
Here's a lot of interesting stuff about the Eihenjar bosses too... Cocapetri was made obsolete by the introduction of Hacker Elves
And the city he took over had been a hideout for some rebels / resistance folk but they were either petrified by Cocapetri or driven out by the rampage of the systems

Well, about the Eihenjar... Genblem apparently understood Craft's feelings and joined him in the operation,
Pegasolta had been a weather control type who'd wanted to be in battle and joined (and actually wants to replace Craft as commander),
Cocapetri was just annoyed at being considered obsolote,
Mandrago was modified by Vile  into a destroyer of nature,
Titanian just wants to satisfy her destructive impulses,
Kracken wants to avenge Phantom,
Minomagnus was just promised a ton of energy if he joined,
and Fenrir was revived by Vile
