  1. Welcome back, once again, to your favorite math class- Arithmancy! We are now moving on to the Chaldean method of Arithmancy, also known as "Mystic Numerology.' In this context, "Chaldean" is an old-fashioned name for the Aramaic languages and their speakers. The most significant difference between the Agrippan method and the Chaldean method is that the number 9 is not used in the calculations. This method is otherwise similar to the Agrippan method, which came after the Chaldean method was introduced, but the letters are assigned values as follows on the chart (partially based on equating Latin letters with letters of the Hebrew alphabet). Take some time to get acquainted with this new method before moving on to your homework.
