Resplendent with authentic 1980&#39;s music, fashion and vibe, &quot;Miami Vice&quot; follows two undercover detectives and their extended team through the mean streets of Miami.
Stubble-faced detective Crockett lived in a sailboat guarded by his alligator Elvis. His partner Tubbs was a black New York cop looking for his brother&#39;s killer. Together they took on the Florida drug world. The show influenced men&#39;s fashions toward Italo-casual and interior decor toward the Miami look. Very trendy music and unusual guest performers.
In my humble opinion, Miami Vice is one of the best TV shows ever to hit the small screen.<br/><br/>When I first saw Miami Vice on TV, I was immediately hooked. Never in my life had I seen such a glamorous and cool series. There were a lot of things that drew me in. The following are a few.<br/><br/>Speaking from a technical point of view, Miami Vice was clearly well ahead of its time. Apart from being brilliantly acted, Miami Vice also boasts a lot of action and stylish sequences. However, the element that stands out the most is, without any doubt, the music. In fact, Miami Vice is known to have been the first to make extensive use of popular songs at the time and integrate them into the show. In this respect, one can not but mention the unforgettable &quot;In the Air Tonight&quot; sequence. Also worthy of mention are the clothes used in the show which helped to define 80&#39;s fashion. Furthermore, the show also sported a lot of fast cars such as a Ferrari Daytona Spider, a Ferrari Testarossa, Cadillacs and Lamborghinis.<br/><br/>By way of conclusion, I believe that everyone should give Miami Vice a shot as I think it is still one of the best TV series ever produced, even when compared with present TV shows, let alone at the time it was created.
A TV series from the 80&#39;s, although I was never around during the 80&#39;s but I do think of it has a great period for movies, music, TV and style, I&#39;ve read about Miami Vice and heard about it so I decided to buy it and must say it&#39;s a great piece of 80&#39;s Television, the style is of the show is so slick and cool, the shots of Miami in the opening credits are beautifully done, the music is 80&#39;s and goes with the show, the fashion and styles of clothing that Crocket and Tubbs wear is cool, Miami Vice has great piece of 80&#39;s nostalgia for the people who was around in the 80&#39;s and those who wasn&#39;t. The chemistry between the characters is a great touch, Lethel Weapon does a similar thing with their two main characters. Sometimes they get along and sometimes they don&#39;t, the plots are creative and the show does have great pace and action.<br/><br/>Michael Mann who was executive producer on the Miami Vice TV show did the 2006 film Miami Vice which is a modern update to the series. Miami Vice is a great 80&#39;s TV show that&#39;s slick, stylish and cool. Check this out. 10/10

Who came to Miami in the present searching for the same serial killer from the past. It seems that Martin Castillo certainly has had a ton of on the job experience as both an investigator and drug enforcement agent.
