BACKGROUND : born and raised in manchester, from the moment she could talk, evelyn led a question filled life. she was the type who was curious about anything and everything -- why are cars so harmful to the environment? why do our tastebuds like sugar and candy better than vegetables like broccoli or spinach? her parents found it endearing, and never put down her endless need to simple know things. they encouraged her in everything she did, and their bond was very tight knit. despite being busy with their jobs, they always went out of their way to make her feel loved -- and they loved to spoil their only child. during her school days, evelyn didn't have the most friends, and was only ever really close to one or two. but, she really need friends to live her life happily. in her last year of high school, with the help of her parents, she decided to enter an exchange student program in the hopes of studying abroad. her father, a full blooded korean, suggested travelling to south korea to gain new experiences and be immersed in the culture, and evelyn immediately agreed. it took a while to convince her mother to let her go, but finally they did, and she enrolled.

PERSONALITY : the first thing you think when you see evelyn is... cute. she's adorable and gives off a sort of clueless vibe, which is only intensified when she opens her mouth. once you talk to her for a minute or two, though, those thoughts go out the window. she loves to question things, sure, but its to the point where she almost always comes off as rude. its not intentional and she never means to actually insult people, but her brash way of speaking and asking things can usually be intimidating to some after they get past her cute exterior. her voice isn't what you expect -- its loud and rash, and she isn't afraid to cuss and prove people how wrong they were when they assumed she was cuddly. its easy to mistake her for stupid because of how obvious the answers to her questions and statements can be, but in reality, she's actually really smart -- borderline genius. she's very book smart, and while that's useful, she has a little trouble actually applying her knowledge to real life, which can sometimes be a problem. the thing about evelyn, though, is that she has endless perseverance and will to succeed. she doesn't really care what other people think about her and never even spares a thought about her self image (which shouldn't be confused with not caring about anyone at all) and always strives to do what she thinks is right. she is EXTREMELY opinionated, yet has a way of keeping those thoughts to herself unless in extreme situations (aka when she gets really angry.) evelyn lowkey might give off a sort of "i don't give a fuck" kind of vibe, but really, she's extremely caring. she can be a bit sensitive when it comes to her own feelings, and always stands up for those close to her, no matter what. if they need anyone to talk to, then she's always there for them, and is actually a really good friend -- even though it can seem a bit hard to believe when you first meet her.

HOW YOUR CHARACTER ACTS AROUND HIM :
beg | at first, she doesn't really pay much attention to him. she's too busy trying to get to know the girls who she had gotten to know, especially her host person thingy soohyun. none of them really tell her why they hate the boys -- just that she should stay away from them -- so she doesn't really dislike them, but doesn't really talk to them.
mid | once he meets her, he doesn't really know how to leave her alone. he's intrigued by the way she just brushes him off, and as a result they end up talking a lot. she doesn't take his fuckboyish advances seriously, and actually ignores them, which eventually leads to her getting to know him as he actually is. when she finally finds out why the girls all hate the boys, she's shocked that he could be friends with someone who broke one of her best friends hearts, and it creates a sort of rift in their relationship -- not because she doesn't like him anymore, but because her loyalty is to soohyun and not him.
end | afterwards, he does anything and everything he can to prove that he can be friends with her while she's friends with soohyun. she tries to avoid him at all costs, but once she realizes that soohyun is warming up to yoongi once again, she isn't sure what she's supposed to do. on one hand, she wants to hate all of them and make her get away from him because yoongi broke soohyun's heart, and on the other, she wants to let them be happy and be friends (or more wiNK wonk) with jungkook again. eventually, after she had a talk with her friend, she begrudgingly becomes friendly once again with him.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND YOUR CHARACTER :
beg | when they first meet each other, he is his typical fuckboyish self, and tries to make advances on the foreigner. to say he's extremely shocked when she doesn't seem to notice and ignores him and how hot he is (smh) would be an understatement. he's so caught off guard that within the first few days of her move, he actually manages to leave her alone and let her get settled into the new environment.
mid | he manages to finally get over his initial reaction towards her, and realizes that he wants to get to know her better. at first when he bugs her, he uses his normal tactics in trying to "seduce" her -- which obviously doesn't work. her blatant disregard of his attitude makes him feel a bit lost whenever he was around her at first, but after a while, he begins to open up and show his true lil fluffy personality, how he would act if people didn't create a sort of illusion of him as an untouchable god hotter than the sun (which he is rip but that's besides the point.)
end | once evelyn starts to avoid him after she finds out the truth, he realizes how much he enjoyed being around her, and that he actually genuinely liked her without wanting to fuck her. he's desperate to be friends with her again, and is willing to do anything -- literally anything -- to make their relationship right. he's extremely persistent to the point where he's bothering her every day, and when she finally gets over the fact that one of his best friends broke her best friends heart, he's over the moon.
