Referee Guideline:


General:

Room tribewar is a fun project!Don't treat reffing as a duty and take it seriously. Just enjoy it.

Behaviour:

1) no badmouthing/flaming other players in this room (better in no room at all)
2) be yourself (Just by being a referee does not mean you are god or a dictator)
3) don't be childish

Refereeing:

1) ignore the trolls (spamming, wasting time, etc)! We can't do anything against them and subtracting points will only make it worse.
2) stay absolutely neutral!
3) Be consistent about your refereeing-style (if you pause a map x, you will have also to pause a similar map)
3) THIS is a minigame, NOT a tournament! So don't make rules that won't be followed anyway or pause maps that are just a bit lucky/glitchy/bad/etc.
5) stop favoritism (even from your own tribe) through pausing the war and/or subtracting points.

When to use the different commands:


Pause/pause reason:

1) when the shaman did something that influenced who became first, second or third
2) on maps where you need fullscreen or fullscreen is very helpful to solve it
3) Crash maps
4) maps that are glitchy or need lots luck

Subtract tribename numberofpoints optional-reason:

1) when a tribe is favoritism their members
2) If a tribe/ player repeatedly trolls

Addpoints tribename numberofpoints optional-reason:

this is ONLY to be used when you make a mistake with the subtract command

What do do when...

1) people are flaming you?
Ignore them!

2) someone is hacking?
Call a real-moderator to perma-ban him!

3) I don't know what the command does. Shall I just try it in the room?
NO! Ask a manager, a referee or moepl so that he is able to start a bot. NEVER test commands in tribewar!

4) someone is not speaking the language of the community they are in:
Ask them to stop and if they refuse call a tribewar manager to ban them. DON'T subtract points from their tribe!
