  4. What if there was another race besides angels or demons? I think hollows would be a good name for them, what do you think?

  8. Maybe the leader of them should be a queen, she could resemble an angel and a demon somewhat.

  12. Metal teeth, no eyes, pale grey skin, sharp claws and having purple blood.
  13. Abilities include: able to control aurora, repel light and darkness, empath and regeneration.

  15. I had this idea that God, whatever form or function He takes in this setting, is just one of multiple 'Elder Gods' that existed long before the material universe. He was the only one who was able (through ability, or by winning some kind of battle/contest) to create an entire new universe according to His design and principles. The other Elder Gods never just went away, though, and some were powerful enough to create their own fragmentary, incomplete creations, pocket dimensions, living races, and so on. They take hundreds of different forms, but are collectively referred to as the Outer Ones- they don't have their own universe, really, just parasitic lumps on the outside of ours.

  17. What's important to note is that these are beings truly separate from God's creation. Sure, the fact that even demon characters in this series are so likeable, fall in love, show mercy and empathy, etc. is a narrative convenience, but it's also not totally illogical if you look at it from the perspective that everything is Creation; everything with free will has a soul, every conscious being can choose between good and evil, everything is an aspect of the same idea or plan or whatever you want to call it. The Outer Ones are completely different. It's not even that they're all evil- they operate on completely different parameters of morality and consciousness, utterly alien and inscrutable.
