  2. >You've been backpacking in the National Park for a few weeks.
  3. >All alone in the wilderness.
  4. >Sometimes you come down into town.
  5. >Grab a beer and a shower...catch up on the news.
  6. >Next morning it's back up into the woods.
  7.
  8. >Hiking into a valley one day.
  9. >A 2-lane highway cuts through this part of the park.
  10. >Traffic is pretty busy.
  11. >See a pitiable sight.
  12. >A fluffy pony is caught in the middle of the road.
  13. >She has two foals, about half-grown.
  14. >She cowers under the center guardrail as cars zip past.
  15. >Sometimes she tries to cross.
  16. >There's never enough of a gap between cars.
  17. >Her foals aren't fast enough to make it.
  18. >They're too big to carry on her back.
  19. >Fluffy mare knows the peril she & her foals are in.
  20. >She's crying in fear.
  21. >Her terrified foals cling to her fluff.
  22. >You see an opportunity.
  23. >You stand much higher than a fluffy pony.
  24. >You can see the gaps in traffic coming.
  25. >A safe gap opens.
  26. >Walk out into the highway.
  27. >Gather up all three fluffies in your arms.
  28. >Carry them safely across the road.
  29.

  31. >Grateful fluffy mare is sobbing with joy.
  32. >"Mista hewp fwuffy! Mista nice! Fank mista!"
  33. >She & her foals hug your legs in gratitude.
  34. >Hike back up into the forest.
  35. >Fluffy ponies struggle to follow.
  36. >You slow down and let them catch up often.
  37. >Pour out a pan of water from your canteen.
  38. >Thirsty foals drink it down eargerly.
  39. >Pour out a second pan for the appreciative momma fluff.
  40. >You don't cover much ground today.
  41.
  42. >You reach a grassy clearing.
  43. >It's late afternoon.
  44. >Every hiker knows; don't wait too late to set up camp.
  45. >You're familiar with this spot.
  46. >Flat ground, few rocks...clear drinkable stream nearby.
  47. >Good place to spend the night.
  48. >Pitch your tent first.
  49. >Fluffy ponies are fascinated.
  50. >"Whaa? Majik houff!"
  51. >They try to run inside.
  52. "Oh no you don't!"
  53. >Zip the flap shut...you don't need any "accidents" in your tent.
  54. >Gather firewood.
  55. >Fluffy foals play in the field.
  56. >Fluffy mare eats tender grass & flowers.
  57.

  59. >It's getting dark.
  60. >Fluffy ponies return to you for safety.
  61. >Momma is already sniffing around your food bag.
  62. "Stay out of there...that's human food."
  63. >Fluffy mare does not argue.
  64. >"Fwuffy eat gwassies...nu steaw nice Mista nummies."
  65. >You build your fire for the night.
  66. >Light it with a cigarette lighter.
  67. >Yeah; no silly rubbing two sticks together for you.
  68. >Fluffy mare is scared of the flames.
  69. "Easy girl...don't be afraid."
  70. >Pat on your lap, invite her to sit with you.
  71. >Grinning happily, fluffy curls up in your lap.
  72. >"Fwuffy wuv Mista! Mista hewp fwuffy...find safe pwace. Pwease Mista new daddee?"
  73. >Smile...scratch fluffy behind the ears.
  74. >Grip her by the scruff of the neck.
  75. >Grab her left back leg...twist sharply.
  76. >It snaps; fluffy squeals in pain & shock.
  77. >"OWWWIIEEE! Daddee pwease stawp! Huwt fwuffy!"
  78. >Calmly break right front leg.
  79. >That'll be enough...now fluffy can't run away.
  80. >"Weggies huwt! Why daddee huwt? Pwease hewp fwuffy!"
  81. >Shove the mare off your lap.
  82. >Her foals rush to give her huggies.
  83. >"Why Mista huwt mumma?" the cry "Mista nice...why gif owwies?"
  84. >The terrified foals won't leave their mother.
  85. >You've got them all now.
  86.
  87. 4/5
  88. >Pick out the plump yellow foal.
  89. >It squeals in fear and tries to hang onto its mother.
  90. >"Whhaaa! Wan' mummy! Nu huwt fwuffy!"
  91. >The mare is crying...she can't hold onto her baby.
  92. >"Pwease nu take babbee! Nu gif babbee owwies!"
  93. >Pull out your trusty fillet knife.
  94. >Momma cries in horror.
  95. >"NUUU! Pwease nu eat babbee! Fwuffy nu nummies! Fwuffy wuv daddee!"
  96. >Thwack her on the nose.
  97. "Quiet, you."
  98. >One slit up the squirming foal's belly fluff.
  99. >It shrieks in agony and thrashes in your hand.
  100. >It's struggles are feeble.
  101. >Peel its skin off carefully.
  102. >It comes off in one piece.
  103. >Toss skin over by a tree.
  104. >Fluff remains on face and hooves only.
  105. >Skinned foal pants and squeals in agony.
  106. >Shove a sharpened stick up fluffy foal butthole.
  107. >Set foal up over the fire.
  108. >It squirms on the stick for a little while, but soon roasts alive.
  109. >You boil up some rice & dried vegetables to go with him.
  110. >He's done.
  111. >The meat is a little like pork...but slightly sweet.
  112. >You finish him quickly, decide to have another.
  113. >The bawling green filly is next.
  114. >Momma tries to hold onto her terrified foal.
  115. >No contest...you pull her away easily.
  116. >Foal screams and cries as you pick up the knife.
  117. >"WHHHAAAHH! Nu wan' owwiiees! Mummy save fwuffy!"
  118. >Momma is helpless.
  119. >She bawls and tries to drag herself on broken legs.

  121. 5/5
  122. >Skin, impale & roast second foal.
  123. >Eat this one slower.
  124. >Momma watches in horror, tears soaking her face fluff.
  125. >"B-b-babbees..."
  126. >Jokingly, you offer her a piece.
  127. >Of course fluffies are vegetarian, they won't eat meat.
  128. >It's dark now...time for some sleep.
  129. >You'll cook your last fluffy pony tomorrow.
  130. >Obviously you don't want her in your tent.
  131. >Can't leave her out here.
  132. >A coyote, fox or bobcat will come steal your breakfast.
  133. >You have some line.
  134. >Tie up her tail.
  135. >Hang her from a tree.
  136. >"Whhhaaa! Owwiee! Owwiee! Huwt tail!"
  137. >She flails her two good legs in agony.
  138. >Then she sees her two foal's skins beneath her.
  139. >"Baaabbbbeeees!" she wails, "Why babees died?"
  140. >You gotta shut her up or you won't get any sleep.
  141. >Your pocket-knife has a corkscrew.
  142. >That'll work.
  143. >Screw through fluffy muzzle, down into lower jaw.
  144. >Fluffy squeals in torment, but it works.
  145. >Mare's jaws are screwed shut.
  146. >Now all she can make are muffled cries.
  147. >You can ignore those.
  148. >Snuff the fire out.
  149. >Climb into your pup tent.
  150. >Drift off to sleep.
  151. >Another great day out in nature.
