The hero who waits

As Rama stood outside the summoning chambers of Chaldea, fidgeting nervously with a hopeful expression on his face, he waited.

With bated breath he waited, even if he knew there was a chance she would never come, that his curse might be strong enough to ensure that she'd never be allowed to step through the throne of heroes and into the realm of the living to be with him.

And yet he still waited and hoped, day after day and night after night, he waited for a sign or even some sort of miracle to occur that would allow him to be with his beloved once more.

It didn't matter if he had to wait for a millenia or if he'd have to be blind, deaf and numb for her to appear, as long as he could hold his dear Sita in his arms, it would all be worth it.

For her he would endure anything, just as he knew, she would as well.

And so he waited, with hope in his heart and love in his soul,

He waited for the day where he and his beloved would be reunited.

Day 26: Waiting
