After being trapped in the sickeningly sweet world as some crackpot conspiracy theorist, Marke became desperate and called her only ally.
"Wutizit." The voice on the line muttered,
"Kali, it's me Marie. I forgot how timezones are different across timelines."
"What do you need now?" The witch asked bluntly.
"How do I escape this pure timeline?"
"Escape it?" At that, Marie heard Kali cackle loudly, "If I knew that, do you think I'd be lying here listening to this?!"

"Was that...?" She let her voice trail off, but her question clear.
