Reasoning: In order to save Felix, who recklessly attacked one of these swole zombies, Kabege attempted to interrupt the assault and save him. Unfortunately, he was beaten back to the point in which he was now the main target of a zombie's feast, having his entire leg chewed off(?).. Needless to say, the massive amounts of poison in accompaniment with that leaves him horrendously injured. With his leg being taken from him in some odd twist of fate, he's also being dredged to near death with an abundance of poison in his system. Left mortally wounded and what not, he's pretty fucked up.

What is the moment: Taking place during a "zombie outbreak" that occurred within Minobu city. With various folks being ripped apart and the like, he's one of many unfortunate victims.
