Okay, here goes...

As most of you know I was working on a deal with Ascension (if you didn't don't worry it's only because I knew you would move where the guild did). In the end it has fallen through. They wouldn't agree to joint leadership, they have no current ranged officer, so I would have taken that position, but I would have been the only one in a position of leadership and I didn't think that was fair to all of you, and secondly we more than likely would have to have gone to Jubei instead of Frostmourne as we were pushing for.

What they wanted is an absorption and not a merger, which I wasn't really comfortable with. Yes they offer a degree of stability that our current raid lacks, and yes they currently have better overall raid DPS, but there is only so far you can bend on our side of the things before it's a deal breaker.

So that leaves the guild in it's current state, we've lost a lot of players for some pretty !@#$ty reasons and it's basically put us at the point of no return. I have always put the guild and its players first and given 100% of my effort. These past few weeks I have scoured guild after guild and approached player after player, hoping to attract potential recruits, I've farmed that 30copper on level 1's to mail people more times than I can bare. And in the end the only real guild we could have merged with didn't see the benefit of a united front. I also approached gig tonight, they were open to the idea of a merge w/ joint leadership however they wouldn't budge from Ally-Barth, and I know you all aren't going to spend over $50 per character to get there.

I just wanted to re-cap the losses we've actually sustained:
Renwed - RL issues
Gunba - Brain issues
Hst - Left because he was worse than our other 2 hunters
Myr - Left because he was selfish, only wanted to finish his staff, and when renwed stopped felt he had no reason to continue playing with us
Mantiss - Wanted a break, went to pvp with friends
Mykro - selfish loot orientated, didn't understand progression gearing strategies
Toneeh - Wanted a break
Kellas - New work hours, couldn't raid
Allstardps - vanished
Asto - not entirely sure tbh
Rikkuqt - not sure either
Pidgeot - Guild issues
Cyphor - not sure either
Sedlin - RL issues
Rqt recently - mainly my fault, pent up frustration, should have been a better GM/raid leader and not let myself be trolled

I may have forgotten a couple but they are the main ones... it's a miracle we've survived as long as we have, imagine having those 4 extra legendaries, imagine having those 2 extra fire mages, we'd be up to spine. 95% of these issues were also unpreventable, the stagnant period farming H:Rag cost us really heavily, maybe pushing 2 raids was the wrong choice... I don't really know what more I could have done but better people skills probably would have helped, sorry I let some of you down in that regard, it's why I'm better as just strictly a raid leader, maybe "GM" wasn't the best role for me.

The only choice we have left is to stay raiding at our current level, resigned to waiting for nerfs. That's not something I'm content with doing, I feel like the last 2 and a bit weeks of raiding have been unfulfilling. So for oceanic raiders who really want to have a legitimate shot at killing H:DW, getting a very respectable worldwide/US ranking, and enjoy quality over quantity raiding, the obvious choice becomes Suit Up.

I've been offered a spot there that I will be taking, but as part of this, they will take my vouch for anyone else that wishes to come, no apping/logs required. Of course I will only vouch for the very best, but if you speak to me and want to come, I'm all for it. That being said though, you do have to be on a level that is competitive with Suit Up's players, if I know you aren't - and not because you're "bad", their players have just proven to be the tip top - then I won't support you coming. The way I see it is if we are going to get absorbed, why be absorbed by Ascension, when Suit Up is leagues ahead.

I am extremely sorry if that comes across to anyone as "killing the guild" that is not my intent, again I'm only looking out for the guilds' players, some of you may be slowing down with WoW and not really consider yourselves "hardcore raiders (lol)" anymore, but I do intend to play in MoP which is a large motivator behind this move. Khazuals will still live as it always has, and it could even become an extremely amazing 10 man (if a large number did want to go to SU that is), or even bolster manlymens core... or there's the waiting for nerfs thing...

By the time this is posted I'll most likely have transferred, because as mentioned, I don't want waste any more weeks, especially when I can contribute to the first oceanic H:Spine kill. Those of you hesitant about raid spots/time, don't be, you will get it, SU suffered huge cuts to their roster as well, it's the whole oceanic scene, not just us, and the losses you suffer inflate as the size of your raid roster inflates, and as you can imagine with SU's roster... Not to mention their secondary/alt 25man raid kills more heroic bosses than we have been.

Their GM, Livie is down to earth and like minded. Unlike Ascension he agrees the oceanic raid scene needs to be united, and it's just the smartest move for me personally, and this is one of the first times in 4 years of raiding I'm making a decision purely for myself. On another personal note one of my best friends Tim (Trollen) plays casually on FM-ally and he was one of the main reasons I got back into WoW on Cata launch.

This was a last resort for me and I loved raiding with all of you, it was a pleasure to lead our raids and I will miss it severely but add me to real ID: XXXXXX@gmail.com - you'll all love my pro name - and we can keep in touch and perhaps play future fully-sick-m8-games together (D3, titan etc.). Hopefully some of you do come because you deserve the best which I unfortunately have not been able to provide and my last ditch efforts were a failure, but maybe with SU you'll get a bit more enjoyment out of raiding, and that's all I can really offer at this point. When thinking about joining SU think more about what your future is with WoW.
