"You know if you don't come back with all our shares, Will, I'll find you." Jack looked through serious eyes at his former party member turned inbetween man.

"Jacky, my guy, you're too serious. Drink a little, enjoy ya self. Yous knows I wouldn't take nothin' from you lads. You pulled my ass out the fire back in Arcsglow. That's why I cames to yous first with this." He smiled and slid his half finished ale towards Jack, who instantly had it sliding back towards Willoughby.

His expression didn't change. "Don't fuck me, Will. Don't fuck us." Willoughby's usual smile and easy going demeanor faded and he began to chew his tongue. Looking quickly side to side, he reached into his shirt and pulled out a small locket. Jack recognized it: A small magical amulet that Jack claimed from the spoils of their first job. He slid it towards Jack.

"Look, that's worth your share. I slip town with the rest, you at least got yours. But I ain't gonna. Imma come back with the spoils, pay youse boys, and get that back from ya. I know our word aint worth shit in this profession Jacky, but I give ya mine. And it aint been bad fors you before, so, ya know." He began digging into the blackened spots under one of his upper teeth while looking back at Jack, waiting for a response.

"Fair. You don't come back with theirs though, we will find you. We went through, uh, some stuff out there in the woods. We're all getting our pay."

Jack nodded. Willoughby looked uncharacteristically serious for a moment. "Yous boys had the chance to leave me to fry in Arcsglow. And hey, we coulda all left the beady eyed fucker to die too. But we stuck it out then. There's a reason I took this to yous boys. Well, besides I thought you coulda handled it. Don't sweat it. And hey, don't lose my necklace."
