  1. Cities and Locations
  2. Sanctum: The major city of the land. Hub of worship for the Nine Gods. It is ruled by the king, Holy Emperor Crawwell. His rule has been blessed by the Nine Gods themselves, as shown by the nine holy flames adorning his throne. He was crowned after he dethroned the last king with his edict from the gods. He has done a good job although the kingdom has been in a slow decline for years even before his rule. The city itself is one of the more prosperous cities. Most of the residents of Sanctum are reasonably wealthy and don't need for must, spending their time they don't spend working to indulge themselves in one way or another. One of these indulgences is The Arena of The Nine Gods, where criminals and willing participants are pit against eachother and monsters captured from the Wildwoods in battles to the death, although the willing participants are revived in the event of a loss.

  4. Carreto: A city nestled in the Wildwoods. They are pressed against a mountain range that they mine into to dig for the ore that they are famous for exporting and using to craft their Cybernetic Enhancements. The entrance to the city leads out into the Wildwoods, leading to many of the inhabitants who leave the town on any regular basis being rather good at fighting. The corpses of the slain monsters are usually eaten for food or dragged back into the city for sale to the Fleshcrafters. The city as a whole is split into 2 factions, The Caro and The Stahl. Each of these factions believe in enhancement beyond what they are born with. The Caro hold belief in Fleshcrafting and keeping their bodies natural by grafting monster parts and other parts onto themselves in exchange for their normal body parts. The Stahl on the other hand believe in Cybernetic Enhancement and replacing with metal and technology to substitute their weak flesh. The more enhancements you have and the less normal parts you have, the higher up in the social hierarchy you are. There is a rivalry between the two groups, almost escalating to war at times. They usually don't cause any permanent harm to eachother, but small gangs and extremists tend to go overboard at times.

  6. The Twin Zephyrs Casino
  7. A fabulous city filled with vice, it's a popular vacation spot as an independent city state outside of the control of the Empire. It's nestled in the large desert to the north of Sanctum. It is ruled by a rich man who lives in a large mansion in the city. A very fair way to describe it would be fantasy Las Vegas. It is ruled by a mysterious man by the name of Lester who loves a good time nearly as much as his people.

  10. Far Water
  11. A Fishing Town that is a large port for the empire, although the New Moon Festival causes issues for it at times the luxury of safety afforded is too good to pass up. The waters surrounding are rumored to be cursed, with no one daring to venture around the time of the New Moon, although many fear it the rest of the time as well. It is said that on the New Moon a ghostly ship rises from the depths to attack anyone it sees in the depths, adding them to the ghastly crew of The Bearded Rose. To combat this, the townsfolk hold a festival every New Moon, keeping all their fishermen off the seas and celebrating their catches of the month. Curiously some of the denizens of Far Water have the curious similarity of being able to manipulate water. Unfortunately, the rumors of a ghost ship are not the only dangers in these waters. If you manage to escape the part of the sea holding these rumors you'll find a Tribe of Sahuagin more than willing to attack passing ships. On the brightside they have a history of not causing... permanent harm to their victims.

  13. Charnwick
  14. A mining town known for their crystal lamps in the past, it has recently been quarantined by The Church due to a Magical Plague granting powers both stable and unstable to it's inhabitants. It is highly regulated but with the proper precautions people can enter and exit, although exiting has strict check ups and inspections to ensure you have not been infected by Chaotic Magic. In it's current declining state, it holds few attractions apart from a cheap source of some rare metals and the famous crystal lamps they hold so dear. It is currently unknown what has caused this plague.
  15.
  16. Weissblume
  17. A Glacial city set into the eastern edge of The Westwild's chaotic landscape, Weissblume is carved into an icecap and holds a town of warrior mages who focus on strict discipline, pledging their service to the Emperor. They say that anyone wishing to join the army can sign up regardless of magical ability, although all such warriors seen are blessed by some kind of magic or another. Those who refuse to serve or support the Empire are exiled to the surrounding tundra. Many people travel for miles to see the mages here training and get the chance to test their mettle against them.
  18.
  19. Weissblatt
  20. A collection of tribes dotting the Tundra of Weissblume, they pride themselves as excellent hunters, putting down any beast they find that is disrupting the peace. Many cities trade with them for the quality of the kills they find. Recently they seem to be busier than usual, with reports of them fighting strange twisted beings that apparently come from another Plane for unknown reasons.
