Fondest Nintendo Memory:

My 1st exposure to Yoshi’s Island, with the 2003 GBA release. I, unfortunately, never got to experience Yoshi"s Island on SNES as a child. I was so blown away at the art style and fluid, fast gameplay, that I continually played it daily long after beating it in quest to get 100% on every level!

Tell us a little about how you got into gaming:

Once I discovered Speedrunning in 2004, I can effectively say, Speedrunning IS Gaming, to me! Beating games alone is a worthwhile accomplishment, but for certain games, becoming absolutely intimate with their physics, gameplay, and level design can go so deep that infinite replay-ability yields from attempting to beat them as fast as possible!


Other comments:

I've been speedrunning Yoshi's Island for Super Nitnendo since 2005. For 10 years I've been addicted to pushing Yoshi to the limit with rapid-fast playing. My thumbs fly around on the controller so fast, I've had people claim I hit APM (Actions Per Minute) of 150!
