  1. The main aspect/mechanic of the game is "parrying." It has a different aspect that what its normally known for, where it a lot of the time is known for blocking melee attacks or whatever.

  5. What parrying would do is not only block attacks, but be your main means of doing complex platforming. Not only can you parry enemies attacks, those attacks will give you momentum (considering Portal I think momentum being preserved, although it would decay after each jump, through bhopping? idk, just an idea). Parrying can also be done on wall spikes specifically, but not regular walls. So I'm thinking of some complicated sections where you have to correctly combo together spike parries and enemy projectile parries in order to appropriately cross a gap. Just an idea, idk how to even program yet so lol
