- - After you sign up with Challonge or with the Google Form, you will be placed on the Confirmed Entrants page of the Google Doc being used for the event, which was listed above. You will be assigned a number based on when you signed up (the 1st sign up will be #1, the 2nd will be #2, and so on).
- - On June 9th 2017, registration closes and matches are picked LIVE at twitch.tv/GFC_Marcus. Random.org will be used to ensure complete randomness. During this time, each match will be given a number (in order of the matches picked, so the 1st match picked will be #1, the 2nd will be #2, and so on).
- - On Sunday, June 11th 2017, the tournament officially begins.
- - Each set of opponents must make a huge effort to set up a time to race that works for both of you.
- - Races are encouraged and required to be done via speedrunslive.com if possible so there is a record of the match happening. If RaceCord is functional by this time, we can use that instead.
- - The runner who finishes faster than his/her opponent will win that match.
- - If both runners forfeit their match race, they must schedule another one and carry it out. This will continue until there have been a total of 3 races completed for the one single match. At that point, whoever has lasted the longest between all three races will be declared the victor.
- - All matches have a 24 hour time limit. This means the official race time (type .time in your race channel while it is going on) cannot exceed 24 hours. This is due to fairness. The tournament is aimed to be as fair as possible for all kinds of people with all kinds of schedules. Just because one runner has 40 hours free in their schedule and the other only has 24 should not be the determining factor for a winner. With a time limit of 24 hours, most people should be able to allocate a full day to the race if needed. If a match exceeds 24 hours, it no longer counts towards the tournament and a new race must be scheduled.
- - Races do not HAVE to be done via SpeedRunsLive, however it is greatly encouraged. The ONLY time races should be done outside of SpeedRunsLive is when you and your opponent cannot find a race date that suits both of you (or if RaceCord is being used).
- - Your opponent must agree to doing the race off of SpeedRunsLive, and you must also message GFC_Marcus for official approval. This is only because racing off of SRL is extremely discouraged and I do not want people doing it unless they have to.
- - Races done off of SRL can be done at any time before the match end date. Both runners do not have to play at the same time. Runner 'X' can do their run Tuesday and runner 'Y' can do their run Friday, if it suits them.
- - When doing a race away from SRL, you are allowed to quit out of the run at any time. It will count as a "forfeit" in a regular race. Then, if your opponent finishes under 24 hours, he/she will win. However, if both runners quit out of their respective runs, they may "go again" and start new runs.
- - All runs done away from SRL MUST be highlighted, REGARDLESS IF YOU FINISHED OR NOT.
- - All runs done away from SRL MUST be livestreamed. Local recordings being uploaded will NOT be allowed for matches done in this manner. This is again why I would extremely encourage all entrants to find a time that works for both of them.
- - The match period will end either at the predetermined date listed on the Google Doc OR when ALL MATCHES ARE COMPLETED! If all matches are completed and the period ends earlier than the predetermined date, it does not affect the predetermined date for the next match period to end. So, if Match Period 1 is set to end July 11th, and Match Period 2 is set to end July 25th, but match period 1 ends early due to all matches being completed, the end of Match Period 2 is still July 25th, unless of course all matches are completed before then.
- - Matches which are not completed before the end of the match period will result in disqualification of whichever runner had the most scheduling issues.
- - Every runner who loses their match has the option of being sent to the losers bracket. The losers bracket operates the same as the normal one. Match Period 1 of the losers bracket begins when Match Period 1 of the normal bracket ends. Runners again will be matched randomly. (The Losers Bracket may not exist in the second iteration of this tournament)
- - The donation pot will be managed by GFC_Marcus. All money donated from runners, viewers, or himself will be contained in this pot. Donations can continue to be sent in throughout the entire tournament.
- - The winner will receive whatever is in the donation pot at the end of their match (if anything).
- If there are any questions about these rules, at all, let GFC_ know. You can contact him at:

- Discord Server - www.discord.gg/ygofm
- Good luck!
