  1. [18:27] {NARRATION} The marching of horrific, occultic beasts intertwined with boots crashing into mud is met in equal part by the overgrowth of the world around them. Demonic predators, leading and following Magi and soldiers of Osrona and Theria, come face to face with the might of Aschea's chosen, bolstered by the royalists of Nysea.
  2. Amidst the trees and foliage, in the forests and wilderness that makes up most of Esshar's bulk, the forces of the continent stand ready and waiting for the command to charge in.
  3. [18:27] The forces of Nysea are not large, nor anything spectacular. A mere group of remnants of Osrona's last army, and a vast majority of young teenagers dressed in military apparel. They ride on no horseback and carry no banners. And due to the past it is no surprise that the armies of Nysea and the Valeborne are separated. They're distinguished quite clearly as feet fall upon the grassy lands of the start of the Therian mountain.
  4.
  5. However, here, once enemies, they were forced to fight together.
  6.
  7. "Force them back and up the mountain, Esshar!"
  8.
  9. It is then no surprise that the Petrakis at the head of the battle addresses Esshar as a whole, for this was no mere battle for land. It was the battle of Light versus Dark, the battle for Esshar. Whether it'd be plunged into darkness or whether it'd rise as it once had, with humanity reigning supreme.

  12. (Alexander rei Petrakis)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [18:31] The timeless jester had arrived without a mask, his grisly visage apparent for all to see. Countless scars marred his practically leather from burns skin. Jagged, curving grooves not unlike horns carving deep into such weathered hide with brutality. The grand old man of Theria had been waiting for this day for a long, long time. The stagnation would end, the blood would flow, and no matter who won or lost, at last the spirit of the world would be brought alive again in glorious chaos.
  16.
  17. "You tried to conquer us with Myllenrois before. You failed. You stood against our armies in your own city, my former home boy. You failed. Theria remains. And WE. WILL. NOT. FALTER."
  18.
  19. Dun would raise his remaining, prismatic gauntleted fist into the air and let out an etheric, ghastly howl of a warcry, more monstrous than man as the heart of the void possessed the once clown prince.
  20.
  21.
  22. (Dun Task)
  23. [18:34] The Fireblooded would march in loose rank and file, chants and hollers heard as swords clashed against their own shields in a battle hymn. Heading them would be the horn priest clad in crimson as he burned a determined blue.
  24.
  25. "They think they can come into the dragon's den and command us like their other slaves and servants?"
  26.
  27. The Task would continue marching to the front of his forces, arms rolling in their sockets as they warmed themselves up for the incoming battle.
  28.
  29. "Let us show them a dragon's hospitality- with fire and fang!"
  30.
  31. It was short and to the point, much like the man beneath the helm that would lead the faithful against the invading forces. Without much word, Revan would throw a fist up and charge.
  32. (Revan Task)
  33. [18:50] Myllenoris came to the mountain that had lost itself. Or maybe it never had. There has always been chaos upon the mountain, even during her own youth. It was the reason she had left it behind.
  34.
  35. Yet she was not here as a fighter. She was here as a leader.
  36.
  37. The Teraphim Lady rose up and walked abreast with Renly, spectral light coming from around her as she stood beside Renly. Her voice echoes across the battlefield in hushed whispers that hung upon the air.
  38.
  39. "I ambar na- Minei; im tur- vin nedh fuia'nen, im tur- vin nedh fuia'coe, im tur- vin nedh thost'gwilith."
  40.
  41. Each and every syllable she spoke drew a runic symbol into the air behind her, her very voice thrumming with mana. "These monsters, these creatures of the abyss, do not care about anything but themselves. They will use you, and then turn on you once your usefulness to them has run out."
  42.
  43. "Once you no longer offer them amusement."
  44.
  45. Amalia takes out a seed from a pouch at her waist, her eyes glowing a subtle blue as the ground within her immediate vicinity erupts with life. The seed in her hand already beginning to sprout, as she simply lets it fall to the ground at her feet.
  46.
  47. The tree that comes from it stands tall, a great oak tree that underwent decades of growth in less than a minute. As it grew, she rode one of the branches that came shooting outwards up into the upper-mid layers. The spectral voice of the Lady-Consort reaching all of those from both Myllenoris and Nysea.
  48.
  49. "Fight near the trees. I will provide what aid I can for you all."
  50. (Amalia Ghede)
  51. [19:01] She had ordered to fight amongst the trees, though amongst the wood her natural feelings would feel a hungry presence. This Task was attuned to nature as well, but it was the carnivorous aspect of it, kindling to feed his driven flame.
  52.
  53. Spying the leader, Revan would frown when he recognized the face. The mother who had given him some friendly advice, and even lead an expedition he lead.
  54.
  55. CRACK
  56.
  57. FWOOOOSHH
  58.
  59. A tree would be felled and thrown at her with the force of a ballista, missing ever so narrowly.
  60.
  61. "Leave this mountain, Amalia, return to the vale, take your family, and escape the scourge while you can."
  62.
  63. Cold, stern advice given as he continued his march forward, refusing to stand down. He had his own family to protect, Dragons to defend, and he would honor both here. He wouldn't bother arguing the ethics of demon use, he knew the risks, and knew the sortthat couldn't fathom the rewards that outweighed the risks.
  64. (Revan Task)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [19:01] Amalia observed the battle from atop of her tree, glowing blue eyes watching for anything she should be paying attention to. From amidst the din and chaos of the battle, she spotted what seemed like a familiar figure, wreathed in energy.
  68.
  69. Seeing that nobody else quite needed her help, she allowed the mighty Oak tree to stand on it's own and dropped down towards the ground. "I had hoped you among all those in Theria would have turned away from Old Man Task's madness." She says towards the masked man.
  70.
  71. "He killed your mother! How could you follow a monster that kills the mother of his own kids?" She says towards with obvious signs of melancholy.
  72. (Amalia Ghede)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [19:06] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Amalia Ghede}
  76. [19:20] Amalia shook her head slowly.
  77.
  78. "You ask the impossible from me. Your father was the one that declared war on us. The demons were the ones who have been attacking everyone. The demons want the Vale. Even if I did return there, it wouldn't change anything."
  79.
  80. "If I don't fight for the Vale, then the Vale will be lost." She says towards Revan as a flood of earthen vitality covers the land around her, bolstering the forces of plantlife that she had grown and cultivated within the forested base of the mountain.
  81.
  82. "No." Amalia says.
  83.
  84. A hand is brought upwards to bring bubbling magma to the surface, searing the land black and barren. The duality of nature, the cycle of life, then destruction.. Only to followed by ever more flourishing life.
  85.
  86. "You should escape the scourge yourself, Revan. No child should have to live beside a monster like that old man."
  87.
  88. Once again, that flood of earthen vitality floods outwards from her as she ingrains her mana deep into the soil. Revitalizing the scorched roots and bringing out an abundance of plantlife that began to swarm and feed off of Revan's own sown garden of aggressive foliage.
  89.
  90. Rarely, does she actually strike out against Revan directly throughout the fight. Her focus is on the landscape, on beating him down through control over the environment. A war of nature.
  91.
  92. And while Revan himself may attempt to strike her physically, there always seems to be a wall of vines, a wave of magma, or a molten shell that stands in his wave.
  93.
  94. He had lost, but there doesn't seem to be any effort made to capture him, or even incapacitate him.
  95. (Amalia Ghede)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [19:36] He killed your mother.
  99.
  100. It was news he had received not too long ago, something that had sent the Task spiraling into uncertainty, his Father was a man he idolized, and sought to emulate. However, he was the same man that had deprived him of the motherly touch that Revan had been neglected for so many years.
  101.
  102. Rage would ignite as his cyan fire surged about him, running forward he would pay no mind to the nature she channeled around her, or the magma that would bubble beneath the earth. Just like the Fireblooded coal walking practices, Revan would race across molten earth to his target.
  103.
  104. She spoke of how she couldn't abandon her home, and he knew it was the truth, he knew what the demons wished to do with it. It was simply his family against hers, as he justified to himself, fists battering through vine and earthen wall to get at his quarry.
  105.
  106. His own foliage seeking to dig their roots in and sap the life from her own, but they were protected from the immense heat of her magma. Revan would have to endure the forces of nature on grit, and grit alone. Though his anger made his flame grow bright, it would be much shorter lived.
  107.
  108. No child should have to live beside a monster like that old man.
  109.
  110. The words would ring out to him as his assault paused for just a moment, huffing as he tried to focus all of his might towards her.
  111.
  112. You're just like your old man, aren't ya?
  113.
  114. Ever pressing on, perhaps it was the seeds of doubt she had sewn into him, but Revan would become ever readily aware of his depleting reserves. Gauging his opponent her tact and grace was shown as she weaved about the field, making the very terrain his enemy.
  115.
  116. Revan had tried to endure it, his mana reaching in and trying to turn it against her, but it would be all for naught. Channeling what remained of that cyan ember, he would charge it for a moment, all the conflicting feelings of not wanting to be like his father, but to honor his family would battle within him.
  117.
  118. Eventually a pulse of blue mana would erupt from him, stabilizing all the magic in the area. It was the last of his energy, and with the burns that went through his armor, he was in no condition to fight.
  119.
  120. It seemed that the Ghede's will would prove stronger here.
  121. (Revan Task)
