  1. Magsarion vs Varhram
  2. They start by exchange of swords, two tremendous powers clash with each other reminiscent of the screaming universe. Even here their differences are clear: Magsarion fights like a violent beast, meanwhile Varhram counterattacks everything with finesse.
  3. Varhram is laughing all the time. From the perspective of different world he possesses he can only feel joy and love as if watching game unfold before his eyes.
  4. He praises Magsarion’s sword, calling it messy yet heavy and guesses it’s the result of accumulating everyone’s prayer until now.
  5. But they also dwell inside Varhram’s own Divine Sword. He is aware of all details about how Magsarion destroyed the universe and the hopes he swallowed. He did that by stealing Zurvan’s existence and manifesting him near Magsarion all the time. In addition, Divine Swords are linked even after division, so miracles collected by Quinn are shared by Ahura Mazda and the path Magsarion walked on is also traced by Varhram. Although there are differences in how they received them, it’s the fact that Varhram and Magsarion possess the same weapon.
  6. That’s why performance of the users is what will determine the outcome of this battle.
  7. With that being said, it’s obvious who has the upper hand in terms of swordsmanship.
  8. Varhram easily deflects his son attacks and even if it seems he shows gap in his defense he immediately turns it around and counterattacks. He makes use of acrobatics like letting go of his sword, use trajectory of Magsarion’s attack to turn it around and kick it towards him, cutting his flank and eventually, even disarmed him.
  9. Even then he’s not serious at all.
  10. Varhram knows that Magsarion must continue to touch sword to avoid breaking his Commandment. That’s why he shoved Ahura Mazda into him, before robbing Quinn.
  11. Quinn and Ahura Mazda are replaced according to the contents of Divine Sword – their reason for existence depends on the users and physical vessels are insignificant. The composition where mother is in the hands of son and wife is in the hands of father has become solid reality. Therefore situation where Magsarion is repelled by sword doesn’t occur, but it’s hard to say there are no problems.
  12. That’s because Varhram is in full control of this battle. After that he took Magsarion’s sword many times and from the sidelines this fight is completely one-sided. Yet Varhram isn’t bored, rather as time goes by he feels more joy – he sincerely enjoys fight with his son.
  13. Varhram says “pinky finger of right hand” and slashes Magsarion’s finger, and then left ear, middle finger of left hand, big toe of right foot, right cheek, etc. every time he announced part of the body he subsequently slashed that part. Knowing, but not being able to prevent – considering Magsarion’s Second Commandment this absurdity is more than just a difference in skill, rather than predicting moves Varhram is forcefully embedding results in the world. Simply put, it’s a power to attract desired future, Munsarath’s Commandment. Varhram shows his nature as a Hundred Faces and materializes Aeon of Munsarath. Floating behind Varhram he’s swinging circular saw in conjunction with his master and cut Magsarion even more. According to Aeon Munsarath, Varhram knows the past and thus, can fix the future. He then further asks Magsarion why does he bleed when he supposedly erased his physical body? He says that if his heart collapses it would mean that his immutable body is merely a delusion.
  14. Magsarion cannot prevented attacks he despite Varhram’s declaration and although he doesn’t admit to lose, a series of such failures sublimate into actual damage. Varhram’s Commandment is to steal something after victory, so Magsarion’s existence power was about to break from the core. The moment he feels real sense of defeat Varhram will take away everything from him.
  15. Varhram and Munsarath continue to cut him, eventually bisecting (again…) his body. Even if his body doesn’t exist he received fatal shock.
  16. But Magsarion doesn’t care.
  17. Neither about his wounds, nor about pain. He immediately switches to counterattack.
  18. Seeing that Varhram feel pride, he says “Like father, like son. I did the same thing long time ago.” (referring to his own fight with Munsarath). While it’s only a matter of course that child resembles his parent, for Magsarion it was almost fatal blow – that’s because he cannot imitate Varhram.
  19. So from Munsarath’s perspective he’s in dead end – if he tries to attack Varhram he will replicate feat of his own father and break his Commandment, but if he does nothing he will naturally die.
  20. But, once again ignoring common sense, Magsarion stabs himself as if to prove that his body is true “void”. He doesn’t feel pain and blood doesn’t spill. Thus, he has proven that it’s not a suicide and on the contrary he escaped jaws of defeat. Not on his bisected body, but all countless wounds he received disappear without a trace. In addition, blade that should pierce his own body emerges from Munsarath’s back instead. While at first glance it’s a scene that ignores sequence of causality, it makes sense. By breaking the future Varhram has drawn he destroyed Aeon of Munsarath he knew (from Varhram’s perspective). Therefore, wounds inflicted by Munsarath’s Commandment also disappear. Was it strength of will that saved Magsarion’s life or maybe his understanding?
  21. Varhram admits that he didn’t really understand Munsarath and that’s why his reproduction was rather loose. Munsarath is a horrible murderer that takes delight in people’s suffering, but it doesn’t mean he seeks one-sided victory, rather, the more he likes someone the more suffering he wants to impose on that person. So from his perspective he wanted to see father and son fall together. Magsarion could see through that at the last minute, in contract to Varhram who couldn’t read him correctly and this’s the result.
  22. Even so Varhram doesn’t feel dejected and switches to swordplay once again. For him power to attract future isn’t so important. He merely wanted to use that power to learn about the past and so long this purpose was fulfilled the other properties are only by-products.
  23. In the end he knows that he will win as a matter of course. Even the previous exchange was only a game for him.
  24. In contrast, Magsarion is in trouble. Even though his wounds disappeared, he made many mistakes before defeating Munsarath and will have to pay price for that. He was robbed by the number of mistakes, even if it’s not definitive his understanding power is lacking and on the flip side, Varhram was sharpened.
  25. Aeon’s accuracy has increased. They’re closer to perfection and have more realistic sense of presence. They’re no longer a puppets that follow movement of their master like Munsarath.
  26. Zarchiede and Tarvid appear, the first one says that even though she likes Magsarion she has regrets because she couldn’t fight him at full power. But now it’s different.
  27. Both of them attack him at the same time, activating their main Commandments. They’re both in their prime, in skill and madness. While Magsarion doesn’t feel any threat from them as individuals, it’s hard to manage them both while at the same time fighting Varhram. Never mind other Aeons he summons.
  28. However, Magsarion says that Locusts aren’t at full power is they’re pet dogs of Varhram, they stop for a moment and he uses that opportunity to cut them.
  29. So Varhram summons another Aeon – giant fist repels Magsarion..and then Varhram himself. While he was unharmed it’s certain that existence that doesn’t consider allies and enemies has appeared, the man who fight for the sake of fighting, Bahlavan.
  30. He screams with joy and produces swarm. His Garyoku swells up and indiscriminate killing occurs. Both, Magsarion and Varhram were swallowed by this storm. Yet Varhram doesn’t consider it a failure. That’s because if the real Bahlavan was here that’s exactly what would happen. In other words, reproduction of Aeons increased once again. Varhram learned from Aeons of Zarchiede and Tarvid and summoned their lord in a more correct way.
  31. Varhram battles with Bahlavan and at the same time is grateful to his son for his teaching. So Magsarion’s choice has backfired, even if it’s the best way to fight against Aeons by pointing out their differences from the originals, it also helps Varhram to learn and create better Aeons. Magsarion’s choices are gradually eliminated, so is his understanding power.
  32. Meanwhile Varhram is easily dealing with Bahlavan’s swarm that he created. He instantly erased swarm around him and then attacked
  33. Magsarion – not only Hero looming at him with Divine Sword, but even fists of swarm around him. It’s impossible for him to deal with everything at once so he must prioritize someone first. But even that choice is in the hands of Varhram.
  34. He uses Mashyana’s Commandment (since Magsarion is looking only at him) and repels Magsarion’s sword. He then passes over damage Bahlavan’s swarm received to another Aeon, Samrukh, she uses her Commandment to increase power by receiving injuries and used red aura to hit Magsarion. Aeons operational speed and efficiency are updated with tremendous momentum and their power start to surpass the originals.
  35. If they’re perfect reproductions they can also grow and if the skill of the master increases so will their quality.
  36. Suddenly, Samrukh apologizes to Magsarion. Varhram says it’s natural she wants to fight Magsarion as he also quarreled with Sirius. Samrukh is angry and tried to attack her summoner but disappears as if put into “toy box”.
  37. Varhram guesses this’s what happens when Aeons get closer to original and decides to temporarily turns this off before it turns into hassle.
  38. Magsarion tries to attack him once again, but his legs were tangled in unnatural way and fell. This’s the result of twisted causality, done by none other than last Nadare, Aeon of Sita. She’s crying, because she knows pain of being treated like a doll more than anyone. She swings her blade at Magsarion, and so does just-summoned Aeon of Kaikhosru, who says that the one who won against him shouldn’t make women cry.
  39. Magsarion intercepts their attacks, but Varhram summons even more Aeons.
  40. Alma appears behind him and pierces the heart of his beloved. Feldows unleashes power of Tuesday. He’s blow away far into air by Acchan and what awaits him there is barrage of Khvarenah’s daemonic tools. All of his attempts at interception are meaningless because Roshan derails his perception. Even clues to counterattacks are gradually removed.
  41. But regardless of their number Magsarion is struck by the image of Varhram.
  42. Frederica appears. She realizes contradiction of her Aeon and original selves. The original one wanted Magsarion to win, but if he does the Aeon one will disappear. Even if in distorted shape she doesn’t want to disappear and takes pride she’s the one here.
  43. She wants to reveal their relationship to Magsarion, but he closes her mouth with his hand and says she’s different from the one who should reveal it and one he knows. The man she loves hasn’t changed, but what she is “in him” is different from what she’s now. She disappears and so is Mama Quinn behind her with the same expression.
  44. Varhram says it’s difficult to have heart and summons Nahid, asking what does she think about it. But he doesn’t want to interrupt their gentlemen dispute and asks Varhram what is his order. But he says most of the work is done so for a time being she can back off. She disappears and only Varhram and Magsarion remain.
  45. Varhram sits down and asks his son if he wants to continue/admit his victory.
  46. Varhram says that Magsarion hated him for a long time, but he doesn’t blame him as he was bad older brother. He admits that he couldn’t understand him and even now still wonders what to do.
  47. Magsarion says he’s fine with killing him though.
  48. Varhram laughs and says that if he kills him then he will turn into Aeon and turn into half-finished product that’s difficult to look at. He further says that dead don’t come back to life so if he can’t acquire his weapon firmly it’s over.
  49. From the guy who achieved spectacular resurrection and control existence like Aeon, it might seem like ridiculous statement, but there’s also a persuasive force in them.
  50. Magsarion who disappeared after understanding “everyone” is the core of Pantheon that Varhram will develop. Without Magsarion shine of Aeons won’t be eternal, without projecting his immutability it will only result in half-assed fakes.
  51. If Varhram wants to just defeat “Zero” then he could leave them as they are, but Varhram is concerned about their perfection. If dead don’t come back to life he concludes that he needs replacement that’s not different from the original.
  52. Hence, it’s doubtful that owner of such a bizarre values can reproduce them perfectly. But no one can say he didn’t try, that’s why he manipulated Magsarion and threw him on Meifu Madou, to fill shortcomings of his defects so by incorporating Magsarion his defects should disappear.
  53. That’s why making Magsarion smile is a victory condition for him.
  54. However, he had no idea how to do that. Sirius laughed when he defeated him and that’s why he mixed his own factor (love) with Magsarion, thinking they were similar. But it was fruitless, his son still didn’t smile. So he now tells Magsarion to listen to his request and smile.
  55. In front of that true shameless, everyone would go mad with anger or left with broken heart.
  56. Even so, upon hearing that Magsarion is laughing.
  57. Varhram is aware this’s not the result of madness or him giving up, he knows that because he doesn’t feel the sense of victory. Instead, he feels something emerging from the back of his heart. He doesn’t know what that is. A very cold feeling, his fingers are numb.
  58. Magsarion lifts his face and in the eyes where “void” swirls Varhram is reflected.
  59. But what he sees there is not a mysterious and heretical monster, but a man who was afraid of loneliness because his connection with the world is extremely weak.
  60. Varhram wants his usefulness to be recognized.
  61. Magsarion’s understanding finally traced the line he was seeking.
  62. The Divine Shinga was looking at it with a slight distortion in her heterochromatic eyes.
