- The abundance of crits rewarded necessitated some means of slowing down how much the pyro could stack them. Thusly, both forms of extinguishing targets, as well as killing, was reduced in their capacity to reward a crit. To make up for the reduced rate of crit gain, the bonus damage against burning targets was returned, though in an altered state where bonus damage is consistent regardless of crit damage.
