District 1

The tension in the air among District One can probably be felt by even the Capitol itself. It makes sense though. They are rather close to the Capitol. As 'career tributes', being chosen to fight to death in this year's Hunger Games will be considered a great honor.

District 2

The residents of District Two are clothed in pretty and rather formal clothing. High heels and wavy dresses, striped ties and nice suits. Everyone wants to look nice in case they're chosen for the next Hunger Games. But there are a few exceptions of course.

Maybe you're one of them, **Friday**. Are you? What have *you* decided to wear for this year's reaping? Because you can't be sure if it'll be your last.

No one is surprised to see last year's victor standing on the primly lit stage... Though some may wonder what has happened to Maple Mercy. No word has been heard from her since the last reaping-- not a single trace of her seen anywhere. Her articles have been halted. Her name has been lost.

Have you noticed, **Kitt Katt**? Or have you not? Maybe you just don't care.

But it's best not to question it anyway, right?

District 3

Reaping day! How exciting. Two tributes will be selected to fight to the death among twenty two other teenagers.

Are you excited, **Fude Nagakage**? Who knows? Only you can tell.

Last year's game was a real blast, don't you think, **Shiro Ryuuzaki**? Or were you just not paying attention? Do you even recognize Cliff? You should. Everybody who sees him recognizes him now.

Except for Connor, that is.

You can't recognize someone when you're dead.

District 4

When someone thinks about reaping day, they usually would experience some sort of fear within the pit of their stomach. Moms and dads will stare at the stage, just *praying* that their kid isn't the one that'll be chosen this year.

Kids will dig their nails into their palms as they try to hide their nervousness.

It's scary for most people.

Except this is District Four. A career district-- and most kids are ready to sprint to the stage as soon as their names are called.

Are you one of these kids, **Resari Vavose**?

Parents, siblings, and friends will punch the air in excitement when their loved one is called. They'll likely hold a celebration in that kid's honor as their loved one is shipped off to the Capitol.

But there are some among these celebratory people that will certainly not be cheering when called. They will not be cheering when their loved one is called. They won't be cheering and holding a celebration as said loved one is shipped off to the Capitol.

They will not be cheering when they watch them die.

District Five is the district of power.

But how powerful are they really?
