I really like my sister.
She treats me really well. She never yells at me. She always gives me presents on my birthday.
Today is sister's coming of age ceremony.
I've worn my favorite clothes and brought my favorite stuffed animal that she's given me to see her.
My sister has become even more pretty, but she doesn't respond no matter how hard I call out to her.
I've never liked my daddy and uncle caring so much about her.
They say she's finally become an adult.

Daddy and uncle have been spending more time with sister.
Sometimes they bring a bunch of strangers home. They enter sister's room and stay the whole night.
They never pay attention to me. It's like I don't exist.
I watch my sister guiltily.
Sister only gives a smile, her eyes staring off into nowhere.
Why doesn't my sister speak to me any more?

I have to take care of sister every day. I feed her. I clean her.
If I don't do a good job daddy will hit me and not let me out. I can't go outside and see my friends any more.
Before, sister would always protect me when I would get yelled at.
Now, she doesn't do anything.
I don't want to become like my sister for the adults.
