  2. Jimmy unlocked the bar and started preparing it for customers, taking very little time in his practiced routine. Once everything was in place he moved to turn on the lights and the neon 'Open' sign. Relaxing for just a moment while he waited on some customers to come in, Jimmy smiled and took in the smell of his bar. Damn he scented wood polish!

  8. Jimmy nodded to the customer, his first of the day. He could tell from the look on the man's face he was looking for a little relaxation. Working his way into the man's mind he planted subtle thoughts of being surrounded with friends he made here, having a drink and cheering on a bar fight. What else could a man want? "How are you doing today, what can I for you friend?"

Grabbing the glass for the drink, Jimmy dropped a sugar cube into the cup and stirred it a little to help it dissolve, added in the bitters dropped in an ice cube and put the whiskey in stirred it in and left the spoon in it as he slid it to the man. "No problem, and you'd be right, I'm Jimmy. Your name sir?"

  18. I watch closely as he makes the drink... not a lot of dumbass barkeep wannabes in this area knew how to make an Old-Fashioned. Guess this place was cool. "Thanks." I knock back the drink, gulping half of it down at once... ahhhh, that burn always made me feel happy inside. "Ahhh. Good drink, sir. I'm Kenneth."

  21. Smiling warmly as he took a large swallow of the drink. Jimmy grabbed a bottle from underneath the bar and poured himself a shot and quickly took it and put the bottle back. Jimmy then reached his hand out, offering it to Kenneth, "Always love meeting a man who knows a good drink, so what brought you in Kenneth? Anything I could help you with?"

They've had this system running productively for a long time and though the ideas might work it would be a leap for them to try it out. Therefore they could risk throwing a wrench in their plans, losing productivity, which could lead to their positions being questioned. It might be worth your time to write up a document outlining the potential risks and gains that your new idea might come with and let them weigh it. Think small, pick apart something that has been a known problem even if at a small level. If that works, then you have a leg to stand on for your larger scale plans. Work your way up Kenneth, don't let a few bad experiences with offering your ideas kill your creativity."

  35. Jimmy stretched and let his irritation calm down before he put his clothes back on, unhappy about the intruder ruining the moment with the woman. Still, he might as well go back downstairs and open up again. Stepping out of his room he looked into the guest room to check on Kenneth. Noticing he was waking up Jimmy moved into the room, "Hey, you passed out, either I dropped a huge knowledge bomb on you or you were dead tired to begin with. You alright?"

She had long natural red hair that she let flow down over her shoulders some going down her back a bit and the rest in front of her shoulders. She had a green tank top on and white denim shorts. She sat there waiting patiently for someone to ask her what she wanted.

Stepping down the stairs, he looked at the girl, "And you, entitled chick, why did Tony let you in, better yet, what kind of drink? I don't really appreciate your tone, especially coming into my bar then calling me a fool. Further still, you threaten me with stealing booze?" He stepped towards the bar, his long red hair in a practical bun and his red beard neatly trimmed. "Respect little lady, you really ought to learn some respect." His tone had shifted to a much sterner one and he eyed the pretty girl almost as he would a child.

Turning back to Brianna, he nodded and reachd under the counter grabbing a glass and pulled out a cup, putting some ice in the bottom before turning to the tap and pouring more Blue Hawaii from the tap and put the pineapple chunk in the cup with a cherry. Sliding the drink to her he smiled, "Someone ordered something sweet earlier as well, they loved this one. Besides, I've got it on tap, really does help with the bill." Grabbing a Corona for the asshat, he roughly pushed his feet off the counter and sat the beer down. "Punk."

Getting another glass tossing in a few cubes of ice he filled the cup with the rum, letting the coke mix the beverage for him. Walking down the bar towards Kenneth he sat the glass down, "Sorry about the massage, Tony didn't lock the door. Later if you'd like?" Jimmy offered truly sad he couldn't make good on the offer earlier.(edited)

I take another sip of my drink. I didn't eat much before so it was intoxicating me faster than it should. With a new found bravery. Brianna looks at the barkeep "W-well is there any r-room for m-me? You w-wouldn't let a helpless drunk like me walk the streets would you?" Bri said stumbling over her words but still seductively. She looks back and forth between the two guys* "One of you two strong men will take care of me right?" She continues. She finishes her drink and looks at Jimmy having a mood swing "I'm sorry I'm like this. I skipped dinner and thisnwas a little stronger than I thought it would be. It tasted so good though. Now I'm a mess." She says close to crying

Damn, I'm no good with crying-type drunks... all of my usual drinking buddies would get aggressive when they're drunk, so I didn't know how to deal with someone in a more sensitive state... especially when they were this flirty.   198. Jimmy casually stepped around the bar and scooped the two women while they were embracing. Casually carrying them upstairs, he nodded for Kenneth to join him. Setting Brianna and the girl in the guest bed he ran to his kitchen and grabbed bottles of water. On his way back, he winked to Kenneth, "You two should drink a little water, sober up a tad so I don't feel like you're offering yourselves in a sketchy state of mind." He pointed for Kenneth to go to his room, "Oh, ladies, there is a bathroom, if you take a left out of this room, it will be the second door on your right." Jimmy left the door open and turned off the light in case they wanted to sleep. He wasn't going to stop them from joining, but Kenneth could vouch if things turned a little sexual.
