Soonyi was born raised in Gwacheon, South Korea. From a young age, her parents put immense pressure on her to get a highly prestigious career such as a lawyer or a doctor. They also were very against her being out and seeing friends and she was only allowed to leave the house to see friends once a week.

She used to be a very antisocial person, only really having one friend, though they weren't that close and only spoke to each other when they had classes together. She struggled to maintain conversations with people and eye contact was the scariest concept to her. She hated how the restrictive nature of her parents made her like this and she knew that she didn't want to stay like this.

The pressure from her parents and the restrictions that they put on her was one of the main reasons for her inevitable resistance to her parents rules and authority. She soon started to stay out later, hang out with random people. She started drinking and smoking and stealing and she tended to mix with the wrong crowds. In school she became louder and more disruptive and would often be sent out of lessons.

She soon met (other girl) and they quickly became best friends and inseparable. They became the troublesome twosome and quickly gained a reputation as the rebellious duo of the school.

They met in detention after getting in trouble for bunking school. They both started talking during the detention as the teacher running it wasn't in the room and they both knew they wouldn't come back until the end of the detention. They bonded over their interests and after the detention, instead of going home, they went out and messed around, drinking and stealing whatever they could from shops just because they could.

She is a very tough and strong person and she has had to be like his from young as she had a very strict upbringing. She is a tomboy but also can be a girls girl. She is very protective over herself and her friends as she doesn’t want to see them get hurt so she is ready to fight anyone she needs to. She has a fiery temper and will not hesitate to lash out at you if you have annoyed her. Although she comes across as cold and scary (which she can be) she is also very laidback and chill. She cares deeply for her friends even if she is not as close to some of them and would never let anything happen to them. She is very wild and hard to control. Once she has a mad idea in her head, you better believe that there is no way you can stop her from doing it.

➙ how do they act around their l/i ? Soonyi is a lot more laidback around Seonghwa. He balances out her reckless and wild nature with his more reserved and chill nature. They match up together really well as they both can reciprocate each others energy and they are both at their happiest around each other. They are both really affectionate with each other and always try to be near each other as both the love languages is physical touch.
